Sprout is bending weird

I have two sprouts that are 7 days old. One of them is bending/stretching very weird. It has a 26watt 6500K CFL that is an inch above it. Is this something I should be concerned about and what can I do to fix it? Unfortunately I don't have a camera but I've drawn a crude picture to show whats going on.

do you have the dirt right up to the bottom leaves?

Nope, theres plenty of room to work with. Should I add more dirt to stabilize the plant?

you could also try turning the pot around, so the plant will bend back when it trys to grow towards the light.And what kind of light you have on there.if its cfls or something samll thenn bring the light closer.

keep the pot directly below the light. in the drawing, it looks like they are not even, which is why the plant is bending towards the light. also, depending on what light, move it closer to avoid stretching. remember that the plant will grow towards the light.

if your plant is placed like it is in the pic then yeah , he is right you need it under the light , but if you put it like that because you have more than 1 plant than turn the pot a 1/4 turn every day and it will keep streitening out.
