SSH Seedling help

Hi guys
First grow, I have a week old ssh sprouted and just transplanted it into soil/perlite mix I’m needing opinions on whether it looks ok. I gave it a bit of power feed and seasol before transplant and it looks a bit yellow the following day. I’m not sure if the pic does much justice but I’ll upload more if needed. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have it under vipsrspectra 300w in a little tent with a fan on a 18/6.

Go easy on the feed. A new seed typically has all it needs for the 1st 2 weeks plus the soil mix will have some nutritional value.
Just water for the 1st 14 days is usually enough.

Check the PH and TDS/EC to be sure your water is not introducing a problem.

Ok cheers yeh I won’t be adding anything for a while now, I’ll put the ph tester on the tap water to ensure it’s at 6.5 for the next 3 weeks. I thought seasol was more of a soil tonic but didn’t pay much attention to the powerfeed label with 12% nitrogen plus the rest. Do you have an opinion on watering schedule or is the knuckle and weight test the best to start off with?

Water, water, feed is a good cycle to start with. Knuckle and weight are good indicators.

Once you have a few grows behind you, you will see how the plants react and make your own adjustments to suit your style.

Depending on my needs sometimes I water once a day. Other times I'll water 1 time a week.

Keep It Simple and you too can grow pounds.

:weed: Pounds. Cool so from that picture you think it’ll be ok with the current setup and ph’d water for the time being think I’m over thinking it all prob just need to let it do it’s thing. Also I’ve read that skunk 1 can come in yellow at the start of new growth and green off as growing from memory skunks a big genetic part of the silver haze but I’m just going off what read. Also considering an in soil ph and moisture meter to try keep eye on overwatering and ph worth the dollars you think?

Reading up on the strain is always a good idea. Experience is where your knowledge base and understanding will grow.

I have no experience with SSH. Yellow is not a normal color for healthy growing cannabis until nearing the end, closer to harvest.
