started flowering 4 days ago wondering about preflowers

so i started flowering my plants 4 days ago almost 5 days and i can see preflowers developing but how long does it take until these preflowers show wether they are female or male?

You should be able to determine sex at around the 10 day mark (of 12/12).

If you can see the pre flowers you can usually tell what it is, try and take a pic. The male Pre flowers show up a lot more round, females have always been like teardrop shaped for me
