like the title implies i just switched my 2 white widows and 2 satori to a 12/12 cycle about 5 days ago. im still using high N ferts because while reading i discovered that using bloom ferts early on will lead to an N defincey. my question is

how long should i use the grow nutes befor switching over to bloom nutes?

also how much will my roots grow while im flowering?

i have the plants in fairly small containers to help limit their height along with LSTing and i'd like to be able to keep them in these containers untill they show sex then transplant them into 1gallon containers, rite not their in 4inch square pots.

well first off you can limit there height by pruning, i have never had a plant get to big cause its my choice what size to start budding it at, the longer you wait the bigger the stem which equals more yield, plus limiting the root structure will just ensure a small yield. the roots grow right up till harvest and the more room they hae the more yield you get. The plants shouldnt even be transplanted during budding, it should have been done at least a week before, but since your in such uber tiny pots you def need to transplant asap. as for nutes I leech a week before 12-12 then ease them into the bloom nutes there first watering in 12-12. check out my gallery to see my results.
