Starting a Colorado Marijuana Club

Alright. So if you read another current post i have here. I advertised an event that is supposed to have 2-600 people come. All you have to have is your red card and ID, and it's legal for them to pass out bud to people, because it's a "Marijuana Club" And everyone has their card and bought a membership ($5 fee) at the door. Police can't enter without a card, it's like safe zone due to being roped of for card holders.

So my question is, if I want to start a MJ club, could I just do it at my house or some rented space, and check ID's and cards at the door, then be able to advertise and have meetings of smokers completely legally??
I mean I don't want 200 people at my house. But would it be legal to start a little pot club?

they just call it a "Patient Meet and Greet"

I could just make it a MJ enthusiast group, or Patient Meetup/Discussion group. Or just have a "Red card only" Bookclub, or... That's what I'm going to do... Red card only (something)...But not bookclub. Gotta think of something better.

What's something everyone could do together while smoking, or at least once after walking in?
Tea party? (Celebrity name here) Fan club? Idk... Any ideas???

How is that the dumbest thing you've ever heard??

It's bad ass they they get everyone together to blaze.
Why is that dumb? Do you hate community? Or MJ? Or MMJ?

I think they need to have MORE gettogethers that we are allowed to smoke at. Especially ones that give you free bud.

I'll let you know how dumb it was when I get back tonight.

Do I have to explain?

No, I hate people that come to our state from Texas that makes the movement look like retarded children who's only goal in life is to score some free bud and tells others cops are banned from entering without a card.

I'm sure they CAN come warranted. But not just to check out what's going on. It's being done legitly from what I've heard from the guy that is organizing it.

I'm offering people in Colorado a way to meet with the rest of the red card community. It's the beginning if doing something not the end. I'm just trying to help people get involved in their MMJ community.

I have a red card. It was a red card event, and it was legit.

No cops were there, and I was able to smoke more there than any other time since I have gotten to Colorado.

do you not have a card Projek?

I'm sorry about the mistake. I went to the Oriental at first too, that's where the ad said it would be.

The roof of the Oriental fell in last week though, so they're closed until they get the roof fixed.

It was at Laurence and 21st St. at like 2151 (pretty sure that was it) or 1215 or something with those combination of numbers.
I would have posted after I found out, but I was already in Denver when I found out. I went to a Dispensary down the street, and they told me where it was.

so.....let me see if i got this right. grab your red card, stuff your meds in a pocket, go to the meet and greet, blaze away with friends, sample other peoples meds....all legal? to me that would be heaven!

AND there is a table where they load your bowl with hash a couple times throughout the night. Like 3x per person, but everyone's got bud, so it's not hard to smoke almost the whole time.

It was at Laurence and 21st St. At 2151 I think. And it's the last Sunday every month.

Called "Patient Meet and Greet"

I would bet a paycheck that there was at least one cop there. Just because they aren't wearing uniforms doesn't mean they're not cops. I'm sure you know this, but trying to work deals with anyone buying or selling at an event like this would be risky.

They didn't hassle was my point. But I didn't see any.

And people attend the event who have been part of Constitutional Court cases. And the law says you can smoke with, buy from, or sell to anyone who says they have their card and they never have to show it to you. I talked to someone there. He had a shirt on that said "Yes I Am _____" I forgot his name. He won a case that proved that the constitution says that the patient has the sole responsibility to decide how many plants he should have and how many ounces. And Dr's can recommend however many they see fit too.

People were openly selling. One older lady was yelling "Brownies $5!!!".
