yes im a ganja cheif and yes im tired im paying for it. I have seeds germinating now using wet towel method. I plan on putting them directly into the ground next to a creek for a water source. Should i use the soil thats out there or bring my own to plant it in? And is there anything i can do to further the protection of the plant? All posts greatly appreciated.:joint:

you should bring your own dirt depending on where you live if in canada use miracle grow garden and vegatable or whaterver it's called
it work ef'n awsome thats what i use or you can use president's choice dirt or fox farm if your in the states or mix 1/3 peat moss 1/3 mushroom compost and 1/3 sheep shit in a 2x2 hole stick you arms in there mix it all together and youve got some awsome dirt never just stick a seed in the ground and expect it to to grow cause it won't turn out worth a dam feed and water them once a week and you'll be a happy camper at the end of the season and plant at least a 100 yards from the creek becaus it's really easy for the fuzz and assholes like that to find your shit yes you have to carry water further but i was always been told when i started to grow you get lazy you get caught and im afirm beleiver in that because ive seen it happen to many time people planted close to water and got caught im not lazy and ive never been caught

ya - you'll want to be sure to dig down and make an area of soft earth for root expansion..
if it's a really discreet place you could put up some little fence hoops around them.. keep the deer from eating them..

Where are you located? In most of North America, it is too late to start plants outside this year.

If it were me I would use the existing soil supplemented by organic compost.

Ford442 is correct by suggesting double-digging the dirt to aid root expansion. Ensure the site gets at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.

Good growing and good luck.
