Starting hydro

I have been looking through a magazine from my local store and have found a hydroponic growing system that I am very interested in. The system I am looking at is the EcoGrower (eco200). I ordered 10 feminized Medi Big Bud seeds. I have not grown before, but have been reading every day for about 3 weeks and this website also has given me info a lot. A good friend of mine has grown before and he is giving me some info and tips on some things. I will be using a 600w MH and HPS light with a digital ballast and a sealed hood. This guy https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/64987-email468-big-bud-ppp-grow.html has an awsome journal and just about the same setup we have going on. I dont know for sure if I will be able to grow 6 of my seeds from seeds to harvest in my system or if I should have something like this rain forest. Just seeing if anyone has suggestions on which system would be working better.

Personally I use the bubbleponics system (dwc). Its simple, provides a lot of oxygen for quick growth and as long as your not setting up a factory its fairly low maintenance.

I really am not a fan of those octagonal shaped systems. i am too DIY to spend hundreds when I can make a DWC system for a quarter that, and mine will outperform it any day.

There pretty for houseplants though...

I do like what they have, the only thing is those look closer together and they are only 4 inch pots

My set up didn't cost too much for what I got. I live in NZ and over here we have a shop called plastic box they sell heaps of plastic shit so I went and got 4x 20L buckets with lids. I cut small holes in the tops of the lids for the pot to sit in and another small hole for my air upply. Get air stones and an air pump from your local fish or pet shop and your set.
Then just a light and a timer and your pretty much ready to go..
