starting new grow HELPPPP

I germinated some seeds about 2 weeks ago, and they all sprouted. RIght now they are about 2 weeks old in Rapid Rooters. I was told to water them every 2-3 days but if i dont water them for 1 day the rapid rooter completly dries out. SO i water them about twice a day.
Is this from over watering? Or not watering them enough.

do those "Rapid Rooters" have any nutes in them? (way too soon for that) umm you keeping tabs on your ph? looks like the nute burn though to me.

Id say that's a P deficit, even though I've never seen anything like this. I'd start adding 1/4 strength nutes, since they're already old enough. And in case it's a mineral deficit, get molasses. 0.5 tbs/gallon every watering if you're watering daily, 1tbs/gallon if you start watering once every 2-4 days.

Could also be heat burn, so check your temps and humidity.

Im using florecent t5 lights about 6inches above them. No nutes yet, just bottled water thats ph'd at 5.8.

that pH is a bit low. Try 6,3-6,5, or at least over 6,0. Bad pH locks out nutrients. Also, you could lower your lights to 3 inches.

I've read that those Rapid Rooter plugs are made from composted tree bark. Tree bark is generally used to lower the ph in soil so the ph of your water with the low ph already may not be good. DC is probably right, you should try to raise the ph of the water a little so that your plants can absorb some nutrients. You could also transplant soon and see if that helps (depending on what your grow medium is going to be). Also, if you lower your light it will raise probably raise temps a little so make sure you continue to check the moisture of the plugs.

yup cali, dont get all confused with all the advice, learn to take the good and leave the bad. Your right on with the ph. Looks like your seedlings want a drink. Since they already sprouted I would recommend transplanting into some large rockwool cubes so you dont have to water all day long :peace::mrgreen: keep on the green. ps
I just germinated some seeds so I should have some babies right long side this one with my sourdawg strain.
