Im going to be doing a stealth cab grow, ive got Attitude Bubblegum en route with G13 Labs Cheese as a freebie and World of Seeds Landraces Afghan Kush. Also waiting for the rest of my grow box to be shipped to me, lights, nutes, vents etc. However, i have 2 easy noob questions if someone would be kind to help out 
1. Im rolling with fox farm ocean forest, i bought some PH up and Down for my water as well. Now, do i test the PH of the water before i add the nutes to it or after i add the nutes to the water? I know i want to keep it between 6-6.5.
2. Is it safe to say if i add nothing but ph balanced water / nutes then my soil will stay at an even ph balance or do i need to watch the ph in my soil as well? If so, how do you test the ph of the soil?
