I recently set up a small cabinet with a 2 foot 4 bulb t5, and I kind of misjudged how much space I had. Long story short I ran out of vertical room after I switched to flowering last month lol. So I went out and spent the money to get two 4 foot 4 bulb t5s to rig up a small closet I have. The closet measures 20 inches deep, 18 inches wide and 6 & a half feet tall.
I mounted the lights vertically. I already had a rubber maid bin, water pump air pump and stones & everything else in the closet from when I grew with call a long time aho, all I had to do was find a way to keep these lights cool since they put off quite a bit of heat and the closet is so small.
As far as ventilation goes I had to get a little bit creative.. Lol I ended up buying a 4 inch in line hydrofarm fan and ran the duct work about 20 feet from a window ac unit to my closet. It blows perfect and keeps the closet around 75 degrees with both lights on And the air conditioner at 70.
I think I've finally got enough light for my plant!
