Stealth grower newbie please help!!!

My first stealth grow is
9 1/2 " w,
20 1/2" long
6 1/16" deep

How many watts of cfl light should I get

I also have a 4" 11/16 120v cooling fan should I use that as cooling or intake? Or should I use something smaller for less noise?
And should I have more pull then push?

what is with all the CFL grows.....ok if u use a LED lamp it uses around 80% of the electricity of HID, and about what.....maybe 40& for CFL's....and it gives off no heat signature....LED in a small grow is just a no-brainer....But if u HAVE to use CFL's, use a alot and use that fan for cooling, ur only going to have room for one plant maybe two, so fuck the smell....unless it gets real bad :) good luck

Do you know of a nearby walmart to buy 23w LEDs with the right spectrum for 5$ a pop?

I'd start with four 23w 6500k spiral CFLs in that space.

My first grow was clfs, I learned u can't have to many lights so put as many lights as possible but still be able to keep ur temps where they need to be. I learned that u put a fan blowing on the lights toward the direction ur exhaust is. I ran tons of CFls and t5 lights in my cab which was like 2x3. Cfls constantly need to be moved as close to the plant as possible but not touching, u will learn that after a few grows with cfl's that it's better to invest in something else cuz messing with those lights 2 or 3 times a day is a pain. With that being said cfl's will grow a plant I have grown a few with them.

hppy2balive is saying point a fan at the lights so it blows the heat off of them into the direction of your exhaust fan so the heat is exhausted from the grow space.and its a pain cos u need to move your cfl's up everyday as the plant grows where as if u use a hid its set to a couple of feet above the plant and stays there for a while.but i use cfl's and i like them for veg

no.....u go online, maybe ebay and grab some simple 90 watt UFO LED with all spectrums, no ballast required, no installation just plug and play....most LED GROW lights will have all the spectrums, some more intense than others, but still great for the novice....but for what he is trying to do, i would go with LED

That's expensive and takes time for shipping as opposed to a 20$ walmart run for a beginner. You asked what is with all the CFL grows, so just sayin. One thing I don't get is spending like 200$ on CFL lighting.

cfls are good, but after when u start adding more cfls light in start to become a hassle. Just bought a 250w hps and i can't wait to hook it up.
