Stealth Hydro Issues

As of right now I have had three seperate unrealted issues with the purchase of one Bubbleponics systems.

1st: My nutrient kit was destroyed during shipping which spilled into the chamber and onto every piece inside of it.

2nd: I did not get my lamp socket with the package aswell. They just did not have any in stock and were sending it when it came in to them. Okay No problem. They ended up sending a socket for a dual spectrum kit which obviously won't work fo HID light. So I called and they said it was on order and I would get it 2 days after they did.

They resolved both issues above fast and with I think good customer service.

3rd: Last wednesday I was putting together the DWC Bucketeer I had purchased from them and noticed that they had drilled the drain plug at the bottom to close so as you could not screw it on becuse there was no clearance for it.
Yeah I could have made my own but I paid good money for a pre-made Stelath hydro bucket so I called and was promised a new bucket was coming in 2 days by Friday latest Saturday I would have it.

Today: I go to get my mail and no package from SH. So I get home and call and they act like they have no idea what's going on or what I am talking about. First they said they had a few problems with this before now they said they have never heard of this happening. Two different people but damn. WHAT THE FUC*

Anyways I am supposed to get it soon.
I Hope

At most good hydro shops they'll make you a 5 gal bucket system on the spot.

At mine, they have a work table with a bunch of tools, and in the past I've gone there and had the guy custom make me a system for like 10 bucks. He had all the tools and materials there, and it took him about 10 minutes. I payed for materials , plus 10 bucks. Not too bad. I think he likes it because he's constantly making shit over there.

If you have an HTG anywhere close to you, they will probably do that for you.

I was able to patch up the other one (file, silicon, and cheap drain plug) to use it but I need my other soon. I have decided to just grow PPP in the other Bucketeer when I get it. I could not wait for them to get it together.

I'm having a little trouble with them myself.

First of all, there was no bulb with the system I ordered (430 son agro hps). Secondly, I ordered the drainage kit which is supposed to be installed by them if you order it with the kit, it was neither installed nor included in the packaging. Third, none of the accessories I ordered were shipped, not a single one of them.

I called today and spoke with a guy about the issue. He said they would send the missing items out. No new order/confirmation # or anything. No apologies for the hassle. Just the old "Ok, we'll send em out". We'll see what happens. All in all kinda disappointed so far.

Hit up roseman or someone they can probably get to the bottom of it ;-) He must have not properly sealed the bag and just forgot the lamp socket

I bought an ro unit from them. It came having been previously opened and with several parts missing, probably cannibalized by them. They never did take care of it or even return my calls. The company who made it sent me the parts and were great.

I have been looking for the same thing, they are hard to find.

But the name on them is Antelco Green Back, do a Google search, there are many suppliers, here's one link.

But these are inline, I'm not sure how they do the threaded fitting that attaches to the res, but you can pick up another fitting that would go to the res, then a short length of tubing and then the valve. But at least this is a start for a place to look.

I made my own drain plug out of a standard plug and cap for a garden hose and a little silicone. Very easy and no SH to deal with. Oh and no leaks whatsoever.

So.....SH sent my accessories. But, they still did not send the 430 son aggro bulb that was missing from the orginal order. At this point I don't even feel like calling them back. I just ordered one from another online store. Screw it. They had other products I was interested in but at this point I can't see myself ordering from them again. Definitely dissapointed since I have to spend 50 bucks on a bulb that should have been included with my kit. They need to quit smoking the hydro over there and start focusing on business.

Anyway, to anyone looking to order from SH, be aware you might have to deal with their customer service quite a bit to actually get what you ordered, and you could get all the shit to make these kits for cheaper on ebay or even at your local hydro shop (which I should have done). Oh well lesson learned.
