Stealth Hydro....Unreliable Co.??

Just a heads up......

I ordered my Deluxe system on April 11. Obviously, if it had arrived by now, I would be posting a grow journal.

They billed my credit card on 04/11.

When I called on 04/14 and asked for a tracking number I was told that there was a delay, they were waiting for net pots. I was told that they would ship that day or the following day.

I called again today (04/20)for a tracking number and was given one. However, Fedex says that that number has not been shipped yet and is therefore not in the system.

Again, they gladly took my money and don't seem to care if they ship in a timely matter. Very Unprofessional IMHO.

It would seem that if they were going to take your money and there was a delay, that they would email to let the customer know. I also have a retail/internet business. It is bad business ethic to charge before an item is shipped or at least let the customer know that there is a back order.

Very frustrating!!

Edit: My order was shipped yesterday, AFTER I called and asked for a tracking number. Again, they could have told me that it was shipping later yesterday. Instead they made me believe that it had already been shipped. I hope I don't need any further customer service from Stealth Hydro, as it seems to be fair at best.

No doubt! I ordered 4-13-09, credit card charged 4-15-09. Stil haven't heard a word from them. I have been working late hours so haven't had a chance to call them.Looks like they don't have a problem getting their money, just wish their customer service was just as effecient. beeter hear from them soon or I'm doing a chargeback through my credit card company. Hell by now I could have probably built my own! Oh yea, sent e-mail 4-20-09, still nothing back. Nice job Stealth.

I received my Bubbleponics system today. It has been 2 weeks since they charged my account. Everything seems to be of good quality.

If you read the customer comments on the Stealth Hydro website, slow shipping seems to be the norm. That's too bad.

I will start a journal soon.

where i come from its mostly standard practice to take payment immediately before shipping. i find with small businesses though shipping can take longer, i mean big firms like amazon are quick, shame they dont sell grow gear hope youre happy with your kit, looking forward to pics!

forgot to say that the problem ive been having often recently is when i order something that says it is in stock on the website and then apparentely it isnt. how hard is it to update a website to say 'out of stock'.

I agree, Xray. It hacks me off though when they charge your card when something is out of stock. THEN to treat you like a mushroom(keep you in the dark and feed you s**t) is just poor service. It makes me think that a vendor doesn't even stock what they advertise and purchase products to sell after the sale has been made.

It took over 2 weeks for me to get my Stealth system, too. And then, they didn't send the bubble stone that they tout as being great on the website - they sent a regular bar bubble stone.
However, on the up side, their nutrients are measured out so there's no thinking about that, and it's a great little system. Today, the bubble bar broke when I changed the water. At the hydroponics store (we are lucky to have one) I got an air diffuser, which might actually prove to be better because it doesn't tip over, you can bend it to any shape you want, and it is long enough to go all around the bottom of the container, so I won't have to keep rotating it like I did the bar.
After paying $155 for their system, I went out and bought the stuff and made another system just like it for $40.
So, Stealth is a GREAT idea, but SLOW in shipping! Plan ahead, people!

No rockwool cubes.....

No bubble disk....Just an airstone........

Disappointing....Very disappointing......

Xray...I have a small business....My credit machine went down a few weeks ago....I found this out after receiving several orders....It took over a week to get a new one( I won't mention the bank's name, But it ryhmes with Smells like Cargo) I shipped all of my orders before even running a card. If I would have gotten hosed, at least my customers would be happy.

i kinda got dicked around like that when i got my hps and FF nuets, though i cant remember the company, it was weird i was checking my order through the website and it was saying they hadnt shipped the light yet and literally at that moment the ups guy was knocking on my door, i was really hoping they sent me a double order

I purchased 1 of my systems from stealth hydro and got it in a week and a half. It arrived with a small airstone instead of a large bubble ddisk and they didnt even send the rockwool. They are morons at that company.

I bought from them a PH up/down kit.
when it came, one of the bottles had a PH "UP" Sticker on it.
The other had PH "UP" And a PH "DOWN" Sticker on it.....! Two stickers.


So i had to test it out to see which did what.

Damn wish I had read this yesterday before ordering my stealth kit!

sorry to hear that man,SH is run by good people and is a good company,hell they were even late on my order,but you cant almost guarantee anything nowdaayz

I would like to clarify....

The product that I received is good quality.

The 3 socket CFL fixture is well made.

The Nutes are pre measured...this has to be a PITA for them.

I don't have anything against them. I would recommend the system to others, just be sure to know You have to be patient.
