Stealth pc grow; first grow!!

whatup rollit up!

well this is my very first grow and im doing it in a pc case. dad knows im growing because he found it a couple days ago but hes cool with it!

i have 3 bagseed which i started germing a week ago. 2 have sprouted and are doing nice but the other havnt.
i am using 1 42 watt CFL( getting another 26 watt tomorow)

2 pc fans, intake and out

i plan on doing the scrog method to increase yeild ( if females)

couple questions

1. how long should i veg the plants for?
2.will a 42 and 26 watt be enough for my space?

i really need all the help i can get please and thank u!

I'm all for PC grows but if your old man's fine with it you should probably upgrade the size of your grow space! I don't even think a PC grow would be worth it to be honest.

I'd veg those plants for like a week max, then flower them. You've got like what? 6 inches of space to work with? Just get the plant rooted and flower it!

he told me i could move them upstairs in our closet. its like an upstairs attic kind of thing. gets really hot in the summer and cold in winter so i dont know how i could keep the temp. in range. plus, im on a tight budget right now. if this one is succesful then im deff upgrading

well if your dads ok with it, first of all i would get more space dude. just build a box dude, ill show u some pics of my grow area once im finished building and maybe you can get some ideas, but i guess untill then this is ok. but bag seeds not really a great candidate for a pc grow, i would get some lowryder or somthing small, and like brettweir said flower asap since you dont have much room. i'de say about a week into the grow go 12/12. try to add 1 more cfl too.

yeah i was wanting to build a box to grow but nothing to big or fancy, big enough for maybe 6 plants scroged. i do need some ideas and pictures to get some ideas from

Hey trippyhippy OG, first off, welcome to RIU! I agree with the others that you should upgrade in space, but may I suggest you do it gradually. May I also suggest upgrading to a cabinet grow in the future? I'm thinking about moving my grow to a cab grow. Anyways great looking seedlings you got there, happy growing!

im actually in the middle of building my cab right now, so i will post pics of doind it and will give you the list of supplys i used, so far it has costed about 50$ for the wood and screws, this is if you already have a drill wich you can pick up for like 30$ or you can do it manually but i dont think that would be very easy lol. its 3'4" high x 4' 7" wide X 2' 4" deep (this is the inside area, not the actuall hight wich you would have to add a about an inch wich is the wood.)

ok so a buddy of mine gave me another 23 watt to use. i now have 1 42 watt and 1 23 watt. i get paid tomorow so ill be getting some things i need. i only want to veg for about 2 weeks so should i get 4 26 watts and go throughout the whole growth?

i really need some advice quick

DAY 11


well i got paid and i went out and got some more things i need. i couldnt find the 85 watt so i just added another 23 watt. i also got a timer, bigger pots, scrog screen (unpictured), and set my lights up a little better.

i started 12/12 last night so hopefully well have a female

moved them to there perminant homes and now im waiting

temps around 80 in the day and 65 at night

temp was pretty hot but under control now

DAY 25

got some all purpose plant food and so far so good. moving to a 45gal rubbermaid in a few days just gettin it ready

so i went ahead and did a little improvement.

-i got a 45 gal rubbermaid tub ( actually have 2 but using this set up right now for these)
- 4 26 watt cfls
-little desk fan i found around here
- and the 2 floro tubes in the back ground but there not pluged up just something i had and put in there to see how it would look

i have 4 26 watt cfl (6500) for veg and 4 (2700) for flower with the 2' floro tubes. everything looks like its going good so far what do you think?
