yes.. its perfect for it

hey spud, good to have you here! thanks for the comps. well, I dont hide the fact that im smoking.. its only the growing that is an issue, so my room usually smells like burnt weed anyway. but I use scented candles and incense to cover up the smell.. its enough for a small scale grow. I still got an Ona jar here for when things get hardcore, but I hate that smell.. fresh linen my ass. :)
Yeah man and Imma definitely stick around to see what this baby yields!

Nice :P Mine is pretty much the same situation, but it would be somewhat suspicious for my room to smell of dank herb for 2+ months straight lol. I burn incense as well but I think I'll just get some more odor blocks, not ona tho. It's apple cinnamon and bamboo rain for me :P

i forgot to mention that i have used dryer sheets too, and it works great, but scented candles are more convenient..

alright gang, got some things done this weekend.. I made a scrog net using my horrible carpentry skills, but it came out decent. the net is attached to the pot so I can move the plant to and from the lights since they are not adjustable. I wanted to make them adjustable and just fix the scrog net to the speaker at the bottom, but this was way easier. plus I can take her outside of the box for feedings and some photoshoots. the net has 24 squares, each one is 5cm, and its 10-11cm high from the soil. is that enough? too close? too far? this is my first scrog so any advice will be great.

tommorow i'll take her out of the box, give her a nice feeding, and remove that lst to let her grow into the scrog.

Bubblelicious - Day 7 reveg:

havent seen any new growth and roots yet.. this is definitely a patience game.

hi!, avrum! I had problem that I couldn't fit my hand between pot and plant. If you have place don't be shy to make nice space there. It will be easier later. Check out my plant. There's some shit happened to it :(

the screen is not adjustable, its attached to the pot as one unit. that way i can move the pot+screen down from the lights when it starts stretching, and take the whole plant WITH the screen attached out of the box..

avrum,

If you can train and water underneath the screen then yes, it's a beautiful scrog.

Your northern is happy and healthy. Are you pleased with the topping?

How's the waiting game with the Bubblelicious? Is she healing up from the harvest/root pruning?

yeah i can put my hand between the pot and the screen.. i guess its all good then. the topping did the trick.. lots of side growth. soon it will be tall enough to start filling the screen. i'll post pics later today. the bubblelicious is purple.. i could swear that the buds i left on her grew bigger, but i still dont see any new green leaves or roots at the bottom of the pot. but the remaining leaves are not dying so i guess she's still alive!

do you think maybe I should make the screen holes smaller? they're around 5 square cm right now..

btw, i have decided to remove the plexiglass for now.. temps are the same with and without. its 27-30 celsius with lights on and 21-22 when lights are off.

Every one of your plants is so healthy. Glad the temps are alright in the box.

As far as the screen, it depends on how you want to flower on it. When are you thinking of flipping? How much screen do you want to be full? You have already made and installed the screen, so stick with it. This amateur's opinion is that your scrog will work wonderfully; besides, there's always next grow to change your screen if it doesn't suit your style.

yeah, turns out all i had to do is pull the desk next to the speaker 5 cms away so it could suck fresh air from the room.. now its much better. I want to veg until the screen is full.. I hope it takes no more than 7-8 weeks, so 3-4 weeks to go until the flip. I guess you are right, i'll stick with this screen and see how it goes. cheers!

That's one hell of a happy plant! I'm already in love with these Northern Lights :)
hell yes buddy, this strain looks awesome so far. your girl looks pretty amazing. its a keeper for sure!

yeah.. that show rocked my world when i was a kid.. gotta love the professor.

the girl is growing crazy! its getting bigger by the minute and if it keeps going like this, i might be able to fill the screen in just 6 weeks, which means that a flip might happen 11 days from now!

Yeah, she's really going at it! How much clearance between the top of the screen and the lights do you have? Is the Bubblelicious still hanging in there?

right now the screen is 5-6cm from the lights. maximum distance from the lights to the screen if the pot is sitting at the bottom is around 35cm, should give me enough stretch space, i hope. if not, i guess i can try supercropping. the bubblelicious is doing good.. the buds i left on her are definitely getting bigger, looks like new growth wants to break loose out of them. cant see new roots yet. how should I handle her waterings? as if she was a seedling or what? so far I gave her water when the pot was getting lighter, half from what she was getting before harvest but more than the amount a seedling needs. it takes 4-5 days for the pot to get light so she's not drinking much. pics tomorrow!

"Treat her like a seedling." Watering a reveg has never been put simpler.

You've got plenty of space, so fill up that screen! What do you say to getting the top two branches to the edges of the screen before flipping?
