steps to transplanting

I would like it if somebody would explain the steps of transplanting...

Few Questions I have:
-Should the soil of the new pot be wet before transplanting?
-Should I transplant in the morning or at night before the light cycle, or maybe even during the light cycle?
-When should I start watering after the transplant?

Thanks For Your Info...

I prefer not too wet the soil in the new pot but to ensure it's placed in the pot loosely. Use at least 30% vermiculite or perelite.
I really think it's better to transplant later in the light cycle to allow the roots their time to "sprawl out".
Give the plant a moderate watering after transplanting, concentrate the water around the outside of the root ball, in the new soil medium.
I hope this helps.

Transplanting is one of the easiest ways to cause stress and shock on plants. Be very careful when transplanting, make sure u are not transplanting more than 2-3 times a grow. Especially during flowering you do not want to have to transplant. For every 2ft of growth you want to have 1/2 gallon container. If your growing organically it's 1foot of growth for every 1/2 gallon container. Here are the answers to your questions.

1. ALWAYS moisten the soil as you put it in the pot never put it in dry!

2. It doesn't matter when you transpant but for you I would transplant during their light cycle so they can perk up from the light.

3. You can continue with your regular watering schedule as soon as you transplant it wont effect it.

Hope this helped, if you have any other questions we would be happy to help. Keep us posted on your grow goes. Good luck :)
