dical, post: 10547886, member: 424750"]All the tap water I have used comes out at about 7.2 and after mixing the nutrients I use it usually comes to around 6.8 or so. I haven't experienced any water issues that would produce an enormous amount of acidity or alkalinity growing in soil. For sure I have to adjust my pH for hydro and soilless and keep it around 5.8-6.2 or so.

You clearly have understanding of soil growing then my very limited experience. pH is certainly something to check. But unless it is running off at a pH seriously out of the 5.5-7.2 range, I wouldn't think that is playing any significant role in what he is seeing.[/QUOTE]

I apologize that was not even a resolution to your problem but that guy has no clue what not checking PH does. I actually do not use soil anymore either since they stopped the Peters top soil which actually is the company that make miracle grow. I went to a system that is considered hydroponics but is more like using soil. Its probably the easiest system to use and it is simple to correct mistakes. I use 2 gallon bags with a 50/50 mix of perlite and Vermiculite. You are mother nature and the plant only gets what you want it to. Its very easy to flush after over feeding. Its just easy and the quality is the same. Ill read your original post and see if I can help. If i can't my buddy Dank will be able to help you. His screen name is dankster420. Give me a minute and we will try and get you on track.

Im guessing you have your answer I read the rest of the threads and answers to your questions. I do not have to PH since we have spring water and it is perfect. I go with miracle grow 18/18/21 through veg and 5 out of the eight weeks into flower and switch to 15-30-15 for the rest of the time. I have grown for over 15 years and never once have had root rot knock on wood. I helped a partner who did and saved it through foliar feeding and a bottle of this stuff at worms way. Name of that stuff evades me though. My way is just so simple the only thing I ever change is my bloom formula. I like dynagrow bloom it is awesome. I stay away from organics because of bugs and viruses. I water each two gallon bag a half gallon every other day and feed them every third watering. The best micro nutrient for
Cannabis is called super thrive and it has every micro nutrient a pot plant needs. It only takes one drop per gallon and is carried by walmart. Good luck to you and I hope you have no other problems. Oh by the way the system I use was recommended by ed Rosenthal so Any info I put in there came straight from him.
