Still no proof John "play the race card" Lewis was called n*gger

of course you're going to believe him. he is, after all, a victim. a woman alleges rape and the man is immediately demonized, a child claims abuse and the adult is convicted in the public forum without trial, any minority cries racism and it becomes an unquestioned fact. we concern ourselves so with identifying and empathizing with the victim that fact is no longer a consideration. we are a nation of victims, it's cool to be the victim. victimhood has become our national pastime.

by the way, the term is nigger. it's not "n" or "n***er". our political correctness won't even allow us to clinically verbalize the term for fear of offending some thin skinned acolyte of the cult of victimhood.

Nuff Said..:clap::clap::clap::clap:

You realize of course, that spelling out the entire "N" word goes against everything the Progressives want, right? Eventual total control is their game, including the control of speech. The only speech allowed in their myopic world is speech that agrees with their premises. ;-)

Again ... I love your posts. Always right to the point, and so very well written and thought out. :)

So, did anyone see the video that clearly shows a tea partier spitting on the black congressman?

I'll take my 10K now

No, I saw it on Youtube but didn't really see the spitting itself until Fox News slowed it down for me (yes, I watch Fox news....lol). When they slowed it down, you saw the congressman's head recoil before the spitter cupped his hands over hs mouth and started yelling/arguing.

I was only able to find the vid on Huffpost, but hey if Fox concedes the point, that is good enough for me

The, "Just Vote NO!", guy was protesting, with his hands cupped, long before Cleaver got up to the protester. And before Congressman Cleaver plays his part, a guy in Cleavers retinue takes pictures of the guy, putting the camera in the protesters face; then Cleaver looks up at the guy from about ten feet away, walks right up beside him, and flinches like a fly landed on his cheek...then, when the Congressman comes back down with cop, he looks right at the protester, and does nothing. Cleaver must have known the protester would call him a lying politician if he called him out for protesting, so Cleaver walked away, and the protestor stayed.

though i'd never fault anyone for spitting on the self-important thieves of congress, what was shown in that clip is certainly far from damning evidence. it shows a man, with his hands cupped, screaming whatever chant it is his right to speak. after several of our unresponsive representatives passed by, the victim appeared to recoil then berate the offender. i did notice that he waited until he was in close-up to wipe away the offending spittle. it isn't that i doubt that he was spit on, i merely saw no more than the usual animosity toward such an enemy of the people.

perhaps you have never been to a demonstration, so i will enlighten you as to the actions of such a crowd. having been a part of several demonstrations, i can attest to the violent salivary actions sometimes involved in screaming at the top of your lungs. i've seen spittle fly, quite unintentionally, in most every direction and have been drenched myself by more than one fanatical screamer, just because i was in the wrong place at the wrong time. further evidence that it was unintentional is that he did not quietly melt away into the crowd, as is prudent in such an assault, but stood his ground and continued on with his chant after conversing with his fellow demonstrators. though i wouldn't bet the farm on it, all this stink seems to be about nothing more than the flying spittle of a heated debate, not the crude assault it has been made out to be. just the sort of thing you'd expect from the nervous nellys of the liberal establishment, where everything is an affront to their delicate sensibilities.

Since this action seems to be entirely defensible, let me come over to your house tonight and yell at the top of my lungs so that my spittle projectiles land in your faces. Better yet, I will go to your place of employment and do it there as you go into work that day.

Deal?

if you were the one who payed my salary it would be your prerogative to do so, especially if my actions were responsible for decreasing your standard of living. it may be rude, but it is still no crime. perhaps you are forgetting, just as our representatives have, that they are merely our employees and are beholden to us for their daily bread.

My favorite part of this "controversy" about whether or not John Lewis was called a nigger or not is that no where is anyone saying that most teabaggers are NOT racist. Instead this is being used to prove some sort of reverse-discrimination. But why would you need to do that? Right... to provide cover for racist undertones.

That flinch was him getting spit on....keep watching the video and you see him wipe off the spit at the end.
If there was spit/spittle on Cleavers, the lady cop shoulda seen it and arrested the protester. She didn't see it. Cleavers didn't point it out, either. And why did he wait so long to wipe tha alleged lugi off his face, if it were there? Why stand there, pointing and bickering with a protester, with spit on your face?

The lady cop musta been one of "us"...

How about if I come to where you work, take a big fuckin shit on the floor, then smear it in your bosses face. Is that okay?

We are looking for proof of the "accusation"... which was that someone yelled nigger. Not spit.

Like I said... the 10k is quite safe.
