Have two that still do not have clusters of hairs, first frost is 3 weeks away, can maybe go 2 weeks after that. Are these even worth keeping? Should i just make clones for indoors and chop the rest for the compost pile.

My lady is showing some hairs, but it doean`t bud yet. I am afraid of the frost too. I have about 1 month left or something. (Check her out)

I suggest you to keep her till the frost and then chop it down.

I second that. You've got nothing to lose by waiting. Maybe mother nature will be kind.
Last year one of mine went to December. It snowed later on the day I chopped her.

I have 3 plants outside. Two are filling in nicely, but my 6 foot one isn't really doing much...a few hairs on each node. It has been the same for about 3 weeks.

Be patient - they can withstand light frosts. When the weather starts turning, you will be amazed at how quickly they catch up!
