If you get addicted to anything you just have weak will. People are always looking for something to blame. Work on your will power man up!

Marijuana is NOT addictive. It has no withdraw symptoms. Maybe your stomach hurts for another reason I dont know. What I do know is this.... Marijuana is NOT addictive. What you need is some self control.... Pure and simple.

don't believe it..addiction is real depending on your life situation, what you're taking, diet, general outlook on life, upbringing, and a bunch of other factors. Idk though, that's just how i see it.. i bet if you did 15mg of instant-release oxycotton everyday for 3 weeks you would miss those babies if you suddenly stopped Lol, just using that as an example because you said 'anything'.

The first time i went cold turkey on Herb due to being arrested and having to go through Pre-trial Intervention was pretty rough..1st week being the worst. I lost like 10 lbs over 1 week, i couldn't sleep, and i was so easily agitated. the 2nd time i quit there was a lot less of a withdrawal, i knew what to expect and my mind was prepared. So what your saying is true, though it depends on a bunch of factors like i stated above.

your right i probably would get addicted. I mean your body becomes physically attached and craves those chemicals. But guess what i would have the will power to get over my addiction and beat it head on. people totally underestimate them selves and turn to god or some stupid 12 step program. look inside your self and you will find all the strength you will ever need. just because your born dirt poor doesn't mean some rich guy is going to have more will power. Just because your moms a crack head doesnt mean your going to grow up doing crack. its all in your head you control your own life. at least in the free world :)

People People People. WEED IS NOT ADDICTIVE NOR DID I SAY IT WAS! You can withdraw from ANYTHING that alters the chemical balances in your body. When your body becomes used to smoking EVERYDAY for 3 years...mostly hash...you're body becomes dependent on the release of chemicals that happen when you smoke for things like hunger, sleep, anxiety, etc. So when you quit your body becomes confused like hey wtf....I forgot how to do this for a second...and you got some minor withdrawls. I HAVE NEVER STATED WEED IS ADDICTIVE! NOR WILL I EVER THINK THAT! But withdrawls ARE real and if you don't think so you are ignorant...fuck you can have withdrawls from not exercising if you do it everyday then stop. If you don't think so your a fucking ignorant fool and id ask you kindly to NOT post in my thread. This isnt a thread about how marijuana is addictive guys....because i didn't say it was. This is about HOW TO COPE WITH THE VERY REAL SYMPTOMS OF STOPPING COLD TURKEY.

If they don't affect you....don't come here calling me a pussy. I'm not weak. I've had opportunity to smoke a few times in the last 3 days and haven't. Having will power or manning up isn't gonna stop my brain from kicking the shit out of my stomach.

Day 2. On a side not I was able to eat one whole corndog yesterday. HUZZAH! The stomach pain is really one of the worst symptoms but I see it passing soon. My mood isn't too bad. Some minor pissing and moaning. Sweaty a lot though. I think this might only last a week.

Well stated, but you are right, smoking hash everyday is alot diff then smoking like a gram of normal bud, hash to me is just concentrated weed.

No. i was referring to smokerofsoobies.

A withdraw from opiates and from weed are obviously not the same. Not even close. Ive experienced one and have seen one. Ive rushed a life long friend to the ER cause they were having post-detox seizures. Ive seen people that just cant quit cause of the pain that goes through there body's when they try too. Nowhere have i tryed to compare the too!

BUT you do experience withdraw symptoms when you take a break from smoking weed when you use to smoke it for years! Will it make your a life hell, no,will it get in the way of you quitting, probably not,Will it make you uncomfortable and in a lot of cases loss of appetite,Sleep loss, head aches and irritability?

Some people man some people. Thats great you on your second day man. im pullin for ya. it really didn't even last a whole week for me. maybe just a few days and youll feel better.

Opiates are fucking insane. I KNOW I will never touch those. I couldn't handle knowing I'm killing myself every time I got high. Plus if I wanted to quit the withdrawls are to die for...literally the withdrawls can shock your body enough you can actually die. Fuck. That.

Yes! I thought I covered this multiple times, over and over ;) The main thing i like about weed is it cannot cause chemical dependence like most rec drugs. If you wanna call the nectar of the earth a "drug" ;)

Go for it Hydro. To much education IS NEVER A BAD THING! Weed isn't a drug. It's a plant with mind altering capabilities. :D And should be classified as such. None of this level 1 federal shit.

i dont smoke hash every day but i do smoke an once a day. sometimes little less. and i smoked for 4 years nonstop even more on the weekends. then i had to quit for 3 months. i did it no problem. i just had trouble sleeping for the first couple of days. my friends have done similar things and have also had no problem quitting. i have never heard of anyone getting stomach pains thats kinda weird. its probably mostly in your head. It does suck tho watching your friends all toke up fat ass blunts while you sit on the side lines.

Well isn't weird how every person on this world is genetically different? Therefor everyone can experience different things. I personally am having pains and sweats and headaches. All may not. This isn't a thread about symptoms or how everyone needs to suck it up dude. Stop puffing your chest out. No one cares if it was easier for you. I don't get where your coming from. No need to down people sir. No one is telling you your experiences are wrong...so don't do the same here please.

Peace and love brother. We are ALL stoners...and for that we can all get along.

I not saying I'm macho or a cool dude because I quit smoking. nor am i trying to put you down. just saying i never hear of people getting all these problems from quitting. from young to old i have seen and talk to many people who quit over the years and none of them have had symptoms like you. mostly people just have anger issues when they quit. the way you describe it its like your quitting OC's with the stomach pains, sweats, and headaches. Only thing your missing is vomiting.
