Strain and Effect/Experience

Hey everyone

I'm curious as to what people like and dislike... what they felt when they were trying it, what they did that made it enjoyable or not.

I don't really get told the strain of anything that I buy but have started to grow a little and I know everyone has their own favorites for sure so lets here em.

I am growing a strain called 420 which has givin' a real big head high and was real nice and smooth to smoke. I also harvested early so this next batch I'm gonna let run a little later.

I also had a bag seed that was of some decent stuff I had smoked that I grew beside the 420 and I thought it was harvested a little early as well but completely couch locked us and was easily one of the best "knock your socks off" type of strains. Very delicious in taste and smell. Weed aroma not piney or anything like that.

I'm in the middle of another batch of 420 and I have some blueberry started as well. We had alot of blueberry going around my area earlier this summer and I was able to find some clones of blueberry so it might end up being the same plant. Either way it was decent. The plants just stank right now too.

my fav would have to be genuine purple kush, super expensive but well worth it,for growing i like northern lights and bc big bud, but the smell, taste and look of any quality kush in my opinion is the best.

I like growing AK47. It is easy...huge yields...clones easy...rock hard nugs...great buzz...fantastik smell. You can smell it from across the room. I know it's not "the" latest and greatest purple headed, mango flavored, auto-flowering nonsense that seems to be popular.

AK47 is a solid performer that will make even a novice such as myself look like a pro. It may not have the flashing neon lights that some growers prefer but it is about as solid a strain as anyone can grow.

What I dislike are the high prices that Hydro shops charge. I just left my local hydro shop and dropped a c-note before I could get out the door. All I bought was some Ocean Forest...Lite Warrior...ph up/down and some cloning gel. It seems I always pick the expensive hobbies.

Dang, this is an interesting thread. Wish more people would give their 2 cents tho... I'm trying to get an unbiased strain/breed education... I'm not impressed by seed descriptions on a distributors site because they're meant to sell seeds, not be straight forward...
