Strain that is not so smelly during flowering?

Hello,

Does anyone know of some not-so-smelly strains during the flowering stage? I'm pretty sure skunk is on the smelly side of the spectrum, I'd like to know what's on the other end, closer to not-smelly.

Obviously weed smells. I'm just looking for the most stealth smell out of all the strains.

Also, does anyone think it would linger to the hallway of my apartment if I'm growing it in a closed closet in my bedroom? It's about a 20ft walk to my front door, but I will have my closet and my bedroom door shut.

Welp, heres some advice off the top of my head.
-Crack a window in your bedroom so all the smell doesn't have one way to go...your front door.
-Try a strain that smells fruitty, or sweet. People won't question you for a sweet scent unless its obviously pot. If they smell skunk stink comin' from your apt, then someone is more likely to ask.
-Burn some incense. Depending on your building, that alone may cause questions or cover them up. If its like some buildings that I'm thinkin' of then no one will ask and if you grew weed that smelled sweet people would just assume its the candles or incense you burn.
-Animals allowed in the building? Although that opens a new set of possible problems for the plants, its another smell that masks anything "not allowed".
-Blanket at the crack under the front door, and probably one under your bedroom door.

I was thinking about that blanket trick.. I read a lot about the least odorous strains and I think pretty much all sources agree that it's northern lights. I can buy seeds downtown, but they're like $300... Stealth comes at a cost I suppose, but I just hope they wouldn't sell me something else if they were out of stock because at that price for like 10 seeds....

Thanks man, they were out of Northern Lights so I asked for Chronic (thinking of this post) but they were out of that too :( They didn't offer chocolate chunk so I ended up just asking the guy at the cash and he suggested Skunk #1. I was pretty sure I had read any of the skunk strains were, as the name suggests, skunky. He said that skunk #1 is a less odorous strain that's easier to grow, but that it does smell quite strong still so he suggested I get a carbon filter.. I was hoping to avoid that step but I guess I wont since I'd rather not have neighbours wondering.. now I just have to find a way to seal my grow area....

im a newb so u can take that how u want, but i would recomend bigbud im growing some right now moc bigbud feminized to be exact and it smells like starburst with oranges pure amazing... nothing weedy or pot like about it.very sweet not odourus at all just my 2 cents later..

how does auto ak x auto blueberry smell like..the description on aditude says it has the smell of the blueberry male side but what smell does that give off while growing ??blueberry...or no

That guy who said skunk #1 doesnt smell much is trying to sell seeds. Its complete BS. Some of the stinkyist pot ive ever smelled. Like it will fill your house kinda smell.

I would agree that BigBud is low on odor. If you don't disturb the plants they wont release as much smell.

I'd like to compliment you on your question. This is shaping up to be a very interesting post. I too need to be careful people don't smell the girls. I've got some lowryder 2 beans starting now. This is my second attempt with this strain. First time I had a mishap (roots dried up), and the survivors were males. I have germed about six more now but I don't know how the odor of them is. I may have to consider a carbon filter, there are diys on this excellent site that are inexpensive to make with stuff from walmart. I may have to give that a try. Anyway, good luck. I'm sorry though that I don't have a good answer, I'll have to research that myself.:leaf:

Nirvana's Papaya zero smell durring flower and curing, dosen't smell strong but it is a 5 min creeper that will kick your ass, I love this one

Yea Nirvana strains are pretty low odor in general. I have three. Bubblicious is medium-low stink and Jock Horror is very low, more of a fruity smell. And believe it or not the least stinky strain of all in my garden is Nirvana Super Skunk. This is NOT Skunk #1 which I definitely believe would stink to high heaven. The Nirvana Super Skunk just smells sweet. Even brushing against the bud just gives off a sweet candy smell. I'm not making it up, I promise. The one thing I will say is that you are usually sacrificing potency for less stink. My stinkier strains are by far my favorite and whatever lengths you have to go to in order to cover the smell are worth it for maximum funk.

I will say though that if NL doesn't stink too bad that is a winner for sure. I've never grown but have smoked plenty and it ranks among my favorite tokes all time.

hey man jock horror is a fruity smelling weed. I just harvested some ppp a few months ago. If you're worried about smell u don't want that one. It made my whole house smell dank. Though it is an awesome smoke and the smoke smells like pine trees.

Hitting the smell at another angle. Wal-mart has a small carbon filter made from febreeze. It will work wonders in your closet. I actually have a larger one that costs 30. Literally kills the smell for way less than a carbon filter from hydro shop.
