Unfortunetly as the farmer almanac states this years northeast grow season will be rainy. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of strains that have thrived during the a rainy northeastern climate? Thanks

Majority of purple strains do well in colder wetter climates. the purp, purple tops, sweet purple are sum of the few off the top of my head.

There some strains that claim to have superior anti-mold properties. AMS from greenhouse comes to mind first. I've also read reports that most mandala strains can be grown in pretty damp conditions. I don't know if you'll be growing in a foggy valley, though.

It sort of depends on how much light, and what sort of wind you get in your grow spot. As long as you stay away from strains of tropical origin, it should be OK.

I just got Mandala Speed Queen for our fickle weather. Great price, good people, and good genetics.

Do you live in a moist valley? Even if we get a lot of rain in the NE it's never the level where you would worry about it. We grow outdoors around here all the time and it's never been a problem in terms of mold unless you grow in a very cool misty creek area with low light and heavy foliage.
You just want to make sure it finishes by the end of September or so before frost.
