Grow from seed, first timer here, and we just got a 400w grow light for blooming, and the top has some new leaf popping up that are NOT marijuana shaped. WTF?

Yes, the plant has some issues, we just started Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom feeding (only one so far as soil is moist still) and running light about 12hrs a day, 1ft from bulb.

I searched and searched but could not find a leaf like this growing out of the top of the plant. Any advice?

Thanks!

Another question, she's in the garage and the temp is not real warm. Could this have an adverse effect as well?

Thanks!

Mcpurple hit the nail on the head.
Those leaves are regenerating.

If something happened to your lighting schedule try and make sure they get turned off and on at the sametimes every day.
If there's no light leak, you use a timer, and never allow light in when their in their dark period
then I'm clueless.

If it is these things.. seal all light out,get a timer for your lights and don't go in there when the lights are off and with no more than 12 hours of light. They'll go back to budding in about a week or two.

Thanks guys, I have not been strict on the lighting. I will from here on out. When you mention it started to veg again, what does that mean? Thanks for the great info. I think I'll like hanging around here!

What does that mean? It means your F'd. It takes only a few candle power over just a few days during the dark hours to revert your plants to the veg stage and it will likely take weeks for it to revert back to a flowering mode. The hormones within the plant are all jacked up.
It's probably even worse considering they look like they're pretty far along in the flowering stage. I'd just chop em' now and chock this one up as a lesson learned the hard way.
