Strangest thing I have ever seen

About 5 months ago a friend gave me 6 plants that were supposed to be all female. I put them under 24 hours light and grew them to about 24" at which time I moved them to my flower area and cut the light to 12 hours. When they flowered, 5 of the 6 were male. To salvage what I could, I got rid of the males and took 6 cuttings for clones from the lone female.

I put the trimmed 'mother' back under 24 hour light and the clones in my incubator and when they rooted, I planted them and put them back with the mother. This is hydro BTW with a PH of 5.5 and nutes of approximately 700 PPM. Slowly the clones showed new growth so I put the mother back into the flower area to make a little more room for the cuttings.

Now here is the kicker that I have never seen before. The mother never did quit flowering and is budding nicely. The clones, howerer, are growing AND flowering at the same time! The clones are now about 10" tall and with each new set of leaves there is a new bud at the node. These are not pre-flowers as you can see them fattening up. This goes against everything that I know about the life cycle of a cannibis plant. Has anyone else ever encountered this?

Would this occur with the autoflower plants that you don't switch to 12-12 to flower. i read that the clone has the mother's age somewhere so that would support my hypothesis???

Thats a lot of hours of light... Why not 18/6 or 20/4? none of my business.

Anyways, lets see some pics! would love to see nice little 10"ers with growing buds.

These grew to 24" before I initially set the cycle back and I have never been successful in cloning an autoflower. There is a good 2" of new growth and no auto that I have ever grown has generated new growth after they flowered.

My grow area 4' x 4' w/6 4' flourescents. Flower area is same area but 400Watt MH. I'll see what I can do about some pics.

I thought Autoflowers were not clone-able?.. Hmmm.. Peculiar
They are in the sense it's possible, there not in the sense that they flower immediately and don't get big enough to piss with.

And yeah, this is a bitch, since all the seed banks have started giving autoflowers as the free seeds. There literally worse than getting nothing, because if you clone them by mistake, you end up being short on plants.

If these are auto flowering, then I wonder why 5 of the 6 plants that I started with turned out to be male? I've never seen an AF male before.
