Strapping on My Spurs

Cabinet Cropper

Well-Known Member
What's up RIU. I have not posted on a forum in over a decade. I thought I may as well make my first post under this new handle something that may actually be worth posting. While I have mentored others after taking a (5) year break, this is the first cabinet I have actually built for my own needs in very long time. I am pretty happy with this, but open to suggestions.
The cabinet is built like a tank. Full framing, plastic floors, radiant bubble wrap insulation inside and out (no IR signature from outside), rockwool insulation for sounds control and flame retardant properties, dens glass sheathing (will never mold)...you get the idea.
One side consists of (4) Mars Hydro "300w" (135w) LEDs. I know. I have heard the general consensus about them on here, but they will serve my purpose just fine. When they break, I will do a COB conversion with Vero s and keep on going (easy). The other side is an air cooled 400w light. Both sides have fans, scrubbers, etc. Primary ventilation is in the box up top with a 6" S&P silent series, and a booster fan. The box is packed full of rockwool. This box is QUIET.
When I last grew, my reasons were all wrong, it was all about $$, bitches, status, flossin....(all the wrong reasons). My only reason for growing now is for love of the plant, and to help people within my circle who are or may be sick, and not have access to safe and proper meds. Anything grown in this box will be 100% organic and K.I.S.S. using Earthboxes. Growing good herb is not hard, and I see no reason to complicate the process. Knowing the plant and providing a proper environment are everything in my opinion. I think this environment will suffice. Pay no attention to the numbers on the weather station display. That was right at startup for the first time. Everything is humming now, and humidity and temp are on point.

Anyway, thanks for looking all. IMG_20151221_183800548.jpg
