Street Value

The police over here certainly have a funny way of working things out. say you get caught with a k of bud:

A K of bud will cost you 3300 pounds but to the police this K is worth 10,000. They work it out to a street value of a tenner a gramme.

I remember a friend of mine who got caught with 2,000 ecstasy tabs, at the time you could buy just one 'E' for a tenner (now they're about a pound each) but the police worked the haul out to 40,000 pounds. 20 quid a pill.

I think they do it so it looks good on the stat's. So many millions of pounds worth of drugs siezed etc.

Very likely. Did you know they also weigh the bags the drugs are in when their weighing drugs? For example... one gram of bud comes in baggies that weigh 0.3g, so effectively I am carrying 1.3 grams of marijuana. This does not make much of a difference in small amounts, but when we are talking about pounds, or cut-off points, it get's shifty.

those bastards will do anything to make them look right and everyone els is wrong just to keep drugs banned i wouldent be suprised if they make a lot more things up than just that...like an example resisting arrest and the cops beating you down for no reason when infact you did nothing but say hello officer.

Very true Phatty. The police are the biggest bullies and they are legally allowed to carry the best weapons and wear body armour. They can pull you over, beat the shit out of you then charge YOU with assault.

down here you can pay off the policias. ive been caught with a knife, and weed, and driving drunk, and each time i just paid the bastards off. pretty sweet
