Stringy New Growth

I have a question, I am a newer grower and have an issue (i think i do)

I took a clone from a buddy, in a rockwool cube that was about 8 inches tall, I vegged this clone for a week longer after I received it at 18/6 then put my 150 watt hps on them and flipped her over to 12/12 flowering cycle.

All my new growth afterwards seems to come out really stringy.

I am using Technaflora products (bougth the starter kit) BC Boost, BC Bloom, Sugardaddy, Magical, etc. my feed cycle is feed, water, water. Taking the solution to around 6.6 ph and watering every 3 days or so.

I am using BioBizz light mix and the temps get down to about 64 during night and 75 during the light cycle. RH = 45-60% (always higher at night)

I will try to get some pictures later when they wake up, but just looking for anything obvious.

So you've got a clone in an 8" rockwool cube...planted in biobizz light mix...was this clone actually rooted into the rockwool or were you just expecting it to? Are there roots popping out the bottom of it? Are you watering the cube or the soil around it? And we really need some pics to look at this better :D

To clarify that, its a 4x4 rockwool cube, that I planted into a 5 gallon bag of light mix. The plant itself was 8-10" high before I switched to flowering it what i meant. It was defifnently rooted before I transplanted it. It looks healthy for the most part outside of the stringy new growth.

I will post pics when she wakes ( dont wanna disturb her now)

I had the light about 6 inches from the top, thought it might be heat stress, so I raised them to about 9".

And I water the cube and the soil around it when I water, not sure if thats the right way, but thats how i been doin it ( thisi s my first time taking a clone and growing it)

Go take pictures now with a camera with a flash so we see the actual color of things instead of the washed out colors from the HPS...you are not going to hurt it by being in there for 30 seconds snapping a few photos :)

I should note that every night cycle she droops like this .
Come on man(you dnt know that they sleep in dark???
They will look a little yellow when they come out of dark and green up w/ lights on fer a while also(looks like 7th day or so of 12/12.

am I correct?????

Also look a little high on nitrogen !!

Also looks like coming back from a supper crop (maybe 5 days ago) it will look a little spindly from that also..imho

Damn DP, its exactly day 7 of 12/12 .. I knew they drooped a little at night, but they get a mean lean.

So everything looks alright ?
Was was it also recently pinched (it looks it)..
Back off on ntrogen.
I would be around 750 ppm w/ that one.(transition nutes ) equal parts of a 3 stage nute,,if it wer me!!

Other then that it dnt look to shabby to me.................

Get all your cropping out of way next time 2 weeks prior to 12/12
you can cause herms if you dnt allow nuff veg recoup time..
Plant goes into flower stressed otherwise.................................

Ive been hitting it with a product called Snow Storm every feed (as recommended per bottle)

Ill ease off anything nitrogen heavy I guess? Dont have a ppm meter, maybe its time to invest.

you are also filtering out the calcium from your tap water...might just be a calcium deficiency...don't filter your tap water if its not hard or soft...get a PPM meter and check it...anything under 200 is fine...just let it sit out 24hrs before using it to let the chlorine evaporate.

did u ever find a solution to the problem. im having a similar problem with new growth being thin and lime green. could it be low humidity?

The stretchy- ness is from using the 'red' hps light and the yellow is early nute burn ..

ease of the nutes for a week or so, just water(not RO) or better 50/50 tap to RO

next clone have it under cool white or Mh for 2-3 weeks first to allow it to get established proper then flip
