stupid strain names

I just talked to a buddy of mine who is a fellow grower and he told me about a strain called california explosion anyone heard about it?I know one out a million just thought I'd ask

I havent heard of it but whats your buddy's take on this strain?

I know people who sit around and think up names and then tell people that's what this or that weed is. If it's not a recognized seed bank name it's just a nickname.
