I don't really care for any of the cable news outlets. Especially MSNBC and Fox. They are both extremely one sided and cater to specific demographics with opposing political ideologies. You mention how the right makes up BS. The left does the same exact thing and nobody can deny it. That's the problem with politics. Everybody wants, essentially the same things.........we just disagree on how to acheive it.:o
Be honest, death squads? Health care rationing? Socialism? Those are the type of BS that I read on a daily basis. This is from the same party that started Obama out 1.3 trillion in debt. The $700 Billion stimulus was written as a bill under Bush.AIG had already been bailed out, as had the Auto Industry, yet these "brilliant" right wing nut jobs are spreading in forums that Obama is to blame for those things. They blame him for the unemployment rate, the recession, the Iraq war, etc. It's fucking ridiculous.

And to top it all off, they are going to spend 4 years sitting on their heads and voting NO to just about every bill that comes up. To put it in better perspective, Bush failed to own up to the wars he initiated. He never accounted for them in his budgets.

We hardly want the same things. Repubs want to continue what has not worked for the last 10 years and they want to extend tax cuts. Other than an 8 page response to the Patient Affordability Act, I have yet to hear any solid proposals for health care reform from them. Obama even invited them to the White House to discuss the bill and all they kept saying was, "let's start over", after a bipartisan panel spent 2 years writing it.

Exactly, it seems if your on the right or the left, you say the same exact thing about the other side... These two groups keep pullin each other down instead of helping/working together.... Its pathetic....
Right and Left are both full of shit, if you trust one or the other side your part of the problem and not of the solution... Thats what they want, they want us divided, not united... What better way then to use religion, race and sexual orientation as well as politics to keep us seperated and ununited... Our country has done amazing things, think if we werent so divided what we could do... Thats my rant for the day....lol
The 2 party system only serves to divide the people, at this point in history anyway. I cringe to think that so many people are blind to this simple fact. It's especially puzzling to me when people start threads with the sole intent of bashing the opposing ideology. How is that productive? :?

Obama isn't socialist or communist, he's a Marxist.
it doesnt matter what he is.... He is a puppet... Every president other the JFK is owned by richest people in the world.... They own all the important land, companies, media outlets, they have long since bought senate, state houses, congress, and they also have judges in there back pockets... The reason JFK got shot is because he wouldnt play the game... And that game is more money for themselves and less for everybody else.... Read the book "crisis by design" and you will get the point....

Don't you see? You are doing it too. You are spouting the same talking points that I hear on MSNBC and NPR. If the progressive agenda is more in line with your lifestyle and way of thinking then I say good for you! I just don't agree with it at all and I didn't agree with the way the previous administration handled shit. What does that make me?:-?

It staggers me to consider the number of Progressives who suffer from selective amnesia.

Democrats have controlled both Houses of Congress since January of 2007.

Back when the Democratic Party was the "Party of No," except when it came to TARP.

Come this January, the Community Organizer in Chief will become the "President of No."

LOL!

I'd like to point out that Obama did not take a single Penney of PAC money. All of his donations came from individuals. If anyone was owned, it was obviously before hand.

If the Dems were the party of no, why did Bush use his veto pen 14 times in his last two years? Even vetoing SCHIP that would have provided much needed health care for children by raising the federal tax on cigarettes a dollar a pack? That's just one example of his many pointless vetoes. Having a majority is useless if you don't have 2/3's to overrule a veto....

You idiots can quit referring to Obama as an organizer.... He served in a state senate, the US Senate and has been a President of the US for nearly two years and yet you thugs still call him an "organizer"

This is the kind of mud the OP was referring to....

still doesnt matter, all the rules/laws in this country help big corporations because of lobyists, think if MJ lobbied and gave billions of dollars to all these politicians, it would be legal of course...

I know you stated a fact, we can all sit here and state facts man... who really knows that the source is actuallly telling the truth, the only way to know that is to actually be there yourself... other thant that you are just taking there word for it...

I dont know who is responsible for 9-11, but it sure gave us a great reason to go into the middle east again... Why would we want to be in the middle east??? OIL, especially now that china is starting to out bid us on the oil over there.... everything happens for a reason...

Negative. Have you ever heard of disclosure papers? It's not anyone's word, it's an accounting of campaign funds. John McCain on the other hand, took millions of dollars from assorted PACs and I imagine the donors will be lining up in 2012 looking for delayed payback.

Obama made history campaigning and using the internet as a fundraiser.

I'd be real careful who I called an idiot if I were you. LOL!

Mud? All during his Presidential campaign of 2007-2008, his own campaign stressed his experience as a community organizer in Chicago.

Was that mud as well? Self-slinging mud? :o

How many Republican-sponsored bill have made it out of committee, much less to the floor, of either house since 2007?

That 'Party of No' handle applies to both sides of the aisle.

And I am not really comfortable defending the Republicans either.

My only hope is that they learned their lesson this time; and that the Teabaggers will hold their feet to the fire once they regain power in Congress.

I totally agree, instead of being subjective, people should look at this objectivly and not biased... my 2 cents
