if you use a inoculant with super soil you will torch your plants bro.[/quo

I should have been more specific, I know that adding additional mycorrhizae to the Super Soil will fry them, I was just wondering if Sub used any additional mycorrhizae in early veg in the base soil...

And Sub, sorry for all the questions...your tutorial is very easy to understand and very informative...I'm sure you get questions up the root ball every day, and I apologize for wasting your time...

I have added additional Mycro like Organizm etc but I didn't really see a huge benefit to it some times I remember some times I dont but I havnt seen a huge difference.
Stored the mix actually forms mycro webs across the top anyway.

There is no such thing as wasting my time I teach people thats what I do L:)

"The Perlite and Coco I happen to have and it will make a better mix but it is not necessary."

I read in your first post on this thread about it making a "better mix". Just wanted to see if there was a specific amount.

Thanks for your time.
Yah i wondered that too? i bet at the most he adds 10% perlite and maybe 15% coco, in sure its never exact. :leaf:

I dont add any extra in the mix now it is officially revized to

8- Large bags of High quality Organic potting soil with a coco and Mycorrhizae ( Biobiz Light works great)
1-25-50 pounds of Organic Worm castings
5# Steamed Bone meal
5# Bloom bat Guano
5# Blood meal
3# Rock Phoshate
¾ cup Epson salts
3/4 cup Sweet Lime ( Hydrated)
½ Cup Azomite ( Trace Elements)
2- TBS Powdered Humic Acid

Run off on this mix after a 4 week sitting with 7 ph water is 6.3

Alright im having a lil trouble understanding the mix i got 10 lbs of bone meal and blood meal. I have the dolomite lime and epsom and i got a big bag of perlite. Im going to get the sea bird guano, reading your skunk article you seem to like it better so i figured might as well try it out. Im also about to get worm castings online but what im really confused about is, will i have to only water this mix? or is their certain other steps that i must incorperate to be successfull? If any one else has some experience plz help i want to start my mixing by the end of this weekkiss-ass

Sry to bother you sub but ive read so much of your articles and ive come to the conclusion that you have imo the best methods for growing nugz. Im putting my seeds in their containers tomarow so im bugging out with times. The varietys im growing are kings kush, himilaya gold, and alaskan ice. Their all going to end up in the ground as soon as the soils cooled down. I have a few questions if you could give me any advice.
List of things i have already:
6 2 c/ft potting soil bags
10 lbs bone meal
10 lbs blood meal
3.5 lbs epson
3.5 lbs sweet lime
i got ironite but dont know why i bought it the guy at the store didnt know azomite and interpreted it as that...
I want to order the bird guano, azomite, and worm castings and after seeing your new mix some humic.

I dont know what im going to do waiting for the wholes to transplant to.
What would you recomend i do when my plants outgrow their containers in 2 weeks??Could you pleaze recomend a organic formula i could use after the plants get transplanted into the 1 gallon containers they will stay in till the soils ready?
Really sorry that i wrote so much im just going crazy trying to think of what to do with these babys cause no parent should ever see their kids dye:cry:

Its 5 pounds of adments not 10 so be careful

once this mix compost and the nutrients are ready used as directed I dont feed my plants everything they need is in the soil and I use pots large enough that they have all they need except water other than some sugars near the end.

Sub I never got a chance really to use your seeds the Agent Orange and the Flav. I did get one flav done was pretty nice did it in a flood setup with my usual suspects but lost my mom due to a fight I lost with mites. I have some seeds left of both and will have to try again to get new mommies but thinking if I get a boy I may cross it with my origianl clones from the original Bubblegum mommy used to creat bubblegum as its a clone only plant that only 7 people have direct from its creator but would like to add some flav to it as I liked the smell and dense smaller nugs it made.Hope it going well and do you have ny new heavy indica strains coming out would love to be a smaple grower on something

So for an oudoor grow, would you recommend starting at around 2 parts super soil to 3 parts hi-test potting soil? Then top dressing later in the season if need be?

Also I plan on using McEnroe Premium Organic Lite growing mix. The ingredients are as follows:

Contains compost, peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, rock phosphate, calcinated clay, gypsum and blood meal

Does this sound sufficient?

BTW I'm growing JTR, Quirkle, Jilly Bean, Agent Orange, and Vortex.

Thanks bro

Hey Subcool,

I was wondering if this product "Bumper Crop" can be substituted for the Roots Soil?

Bumper Crop® Organic Soil Amendment - (2 cu ft)
A blend of composted fir bark and forest humus fortified with
15% chicken manure, worm castings, bat guano and kelp
meal. pH balanced with dolomite and oyster shell lime. An all
purpose pre-fertilized planting and garden soil amendment.
Excels as a nutrient rich top dressing and mulch.

I bought some bags of this stuff at the local nursery before I looked more closely and saw it said "Soil Amendment" instead of potting soil.

Thanks!

i was ready to rant and rave about all these questions on perlite and bullshit, but then i too saw that you were confused on the "soil ammendment"
LOL

that is basically a bag of poop, mix it in with some soil, coco, or moss. along with the blood and bone meal. if the soil mix ( not the poop, i can see it says 15% lime) does not have dolomite, mix it in.

Hey Sub,

I have been reading everything that I can like a mad man on "super soil" mixes. I am sure you know that either you are duplicated a thousand times or that you are quite prolific on quite a few other sites and postings, lol. Literally I have seen this recipe in maybe ten diferent places with minor additions or changes. I guess also that it is basically what a plant needs. So, ty.

However, I notice, that you pretty much add twice what every body else adds or you do elsewhere for P nutes. Most people add only one round of bone meal, steamed or otherwise, and that is it.

You add Bone and P Guano. I am right? This is fine to me. Many have siad they would have to add some nutes in flower. Is this what you found? Just double the P in the basic "super soil" mixes floating around? Just curious. I am about to go around of super soil. I am only going to add some kelp meal as the K factor confuses me.:)
