suggestions for a sativa dom sog please

Hi everyone. as the title says, I'm looking for a saliva dominant strain to sog in 11x11cm square pots. ideally I'm looking for something that can finish from rooted clone in around 60 days. I would also like a big yielder. Looking for a similar type of happy energetic but not too trippy buzz like Durban Poison. I will be growing under 250W HPS. I'm thinking maybe Satori, kali mist or blue dream, but would welcome any suggestions, particularly from those who have sogged sativas.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Power Plant looks great. My short list is getting longer! I'd never heard of Sannies before, as I only usually buy from Herbies and Sannies are not represented there. Have just spent a long while looking at Sannies website and I'm very impressed by what I've seen. He has some amazing looking strains (the Sannie's Jack looks amazing) and is obviously completely dedicated, although I did wonder why on his grow log page there are no grows more recent than 2010?)

I also like the look of ACE Seeds, Mandala, Seeds of Africa, HSO, Cali Connection and I'm sure there are many others that breed from the landrace genetics. It's so difficult to chose when you only have a small space. I've only been growing a year and haven't found my perfect strain yet, but the best smoke was probably from my first grow which was Auto Silver Bullet from Ministry of Cannabis. This was a vigorous strain which yielded me 21 grams of super smiley smoke from approximately 171W of CFL.

As this will be my first SOG, I want to keep it a simple as possible, so I will probably buy 2 or 3 feminised seeds of whichever strain I eventually decide to go with and clone from the strongest looking one. I just don't have the space to mess about with regular seeds.

I should also mention that this SOG will reside in a wardrobe with a floorspace of 52 x 88 cm. My maximum plant height excluding the pot depth and distance from light, is about 90cm. I figure the 11x11cm square pots will keep whatever strain I choose from growing too tall. These pots will also allow me to squeeze in up to 32 plants, although I think will go for 4 rows of 7 instead of 8, just to give me a little wiggle room.

That's the other thing I'm wondering about. I guess my mother will need 14 internodes to produce 28 clones. I've got another grow going at the moment (a couple of photos and a couple of autos), but I do have a little spare space. Perhaps I should sacrifice the photo (1 of which is about a week or two in bud (but not it seems a well regarded strain) in order to get the mother going

Does anyone any idea of what sort of yield I might hope to achieve with 28 11x11cm pots under 250w hps? I doubt that I would be able to achieve 14g a plant as that would surpass the oft touted magical target of a gram per Watt. I know it depends on so many factors, but I want to see how much I can squeeze out of this space as it's all I've got for now. I'd like achieve between 8 and 10 oz every two months out of 4.925 square feet or 0.4576 square metres. Am I dreaming or all things being equal, is it doable? Thanks.

Oh and for temperature control, all I have is a 6" fan clipped onto the reflector and aimed at the space between the lights and the canopy in the general direction of the open doors. I also have a large oscillating fan blowing air in. I know I will have to fit a proper extractor at some point, but I can't afford that just yet. The smell I'm not worried about at all. So - my average temps at the moment are a little high but generally stay round about 90. That was one factor that attracted me to Satori, the fact that Mandala claim it withstands high temps very well. I believe Sativas in general will stand more heat than Indicas.

Power Plant remains one of Dutch Passions most appreciated genetic contributions in recent decades. This weeks blog is about a customer that grew his Power Plants from seed to harvest under a 12/12 light system in 3.5 litre pots in just 85 days averaging around 50g harvest per plant.

Dutch Passion Power Plant has been a best-seller since the 1990’s, she’s a South African sativa with heavy yields and fast growth, but she is probably most appreciated for the hard-hitting knockout smoke. As one of our original legendary varieties we offer this variety in both regular and feminized seeds. The following comments and pictures in the grow diary come from Automaster, his original diary is here.

All awesome suggestions - chololope sounds great, but so does the power plant and critical jack. What I've decided to do is to get some Satori started as soon as I finish up what I've got growing at the moment.

Instead of doing 28 11cm pots, since it's my first attempt at cloning, I've decided to do either 15 x (15cm 3L pots) or 8 x (20.5cm 6L pots). Which should I do bearing in mind that I can't really let my plants get any higher than about 70 or 80cm?

However many pots I run, I'm gonna devote half to the Satori and the other half to a knockout Indica. Thinking along the lines of Hashberry, Romulan or Medican man. Which should I choose and why?

Before I start the sog though I've got to finish this grow and sort out my heat problem. I've just acquired a new Omega 600W dimmable from ebay which I'm running at 250W. I always have problems with this south facing bedroom/living room in the summer months anyway and it should become easier during the autumn. I have no extraction, just fans and doors although I'm thinking if I take the space blanket down and let the bare dark wood absorb some of the heat, that might help slightly. I'm kicking myself now because I've only had this light a week and although it seems like a good light, I'm wishing I'd gone for an LED solution. It's just that I didn't realise it was possible to get any thing decent enough to grow big buds in my space for under £100, but a friend of mine has told me differently. Is he right? I only need to cover 20" x 34".

Does anyone believe that this MarsHydro 300W LED board could do as good a job as 250W HPS?

Or for a successful LED grow, do I really need something like this?

300W COB Led Grow Lights - Full Spectrum by PRAKASA

What's the difference? They're both 300W.

Thanks everyone.
