Suggestions on fan/filter setup for tent-in-a-room confiugrations

So I have a space that was a conversion project and it's narrow/long where I could fit 2 tents (4x4) on each side of a door and there's barely any room between the tent and the walls, but I could fit a 4 or 6 duct in there for inlet flow. The top is where I'd then pull heat out and could use 6 there. I'm aiming to design for that scenario but in reality I don't need 2 full on 4x4's for what I plan on. Instead I planned on sticking a 2x4 in the same room and use it as a dedicated veg/mom tent.

This closet/room is then vented back out into the main living space (loft) and is setup with inlets from the room where the door is located keeping the bodies of air as far apart as I could. The inlets can have up to 3x4" since I figured I'd have a dedicated inlet duct for each tent and -maybe- one for the area in the room itself to keep from having stagnant air.

My current gear is just a single 6" hyper fan, a filter and a muffler that draws from the open space in the room and vents out to the loft area; Additionally I have some cheap'o duct boosters from the hardware store for use as inlet assistance (would radily consider replacing with better 4" fans - wish Hyper made a 4" - such as something in a 'silent' series/branch).

For this setup, the main tent would have LED(s) going with total draw near 800w (2x400w) and the veg/mom tent maybe 450 or around that.

So I know I need something to extract from the 2 tents primarily and a little from the room to keep that air fresh as well. I've been noodling on some variations but thought I'd pose the question here as well. My 1st thought was to use the 1 fan and enclose the fan/filter in a box that I could then use as a way to split that pull to 3 x 4" and run one duct to each tent and then 1 to the room - but then I'm thinking I need to bump up to an 8" fan perhaps which I hoped to avoid - the outlet into the loft is already less discrete than I would like being noticeable for sure.

So design gurus and the hvac-wise - I'd love to hear your thoughts on this type of setup and keeping things as discrete as possible re: the outlet point noise.

How much air movement do you suppose a 4x4 with 800w (actual) of LED would need? think a 4" inline on full speed would handle it?

Nah not even close. Especially once you factor in bends/dips/turns in the ducting system. 4" fans are good for a 2x2 tent IMVHO. Or a super low wattage light in a 3x3 or 2x4.

.

I had 400w of actual draw of LEDs in a 2x4x5 tent and a 4" 192cfm exhaust, and I literally had to keep the window open during -15f to 0f winter temps constantly to keep temps under 85-90f. 192cfm is the highest CFM a 4" fan can do too. Was fucked.

If you wanna exhaust both 2x4' tents, I think at minimum a 440cfm 6" fan is needed with that wattage, but id go for an 8" fan to be safe and use a controller. I have 2 vortex S line 6" 347cfm fans in my 3x3 and 4x4 tents and they're very quiet and have a 10 year warranty. Believe they're the quietest fans out there today. They make a 743cfm 8" version that should be good for this, but itll be louder than my 6" ones so i cant promise itll be quiet.

Your filter should be rated for a higher CFM than your fan because the air needs ample contact time with the carbon to filter properly. If your fan is 440cfm and your filter is rated for 400cfm, you will have some odor coming out, believe me haha.

Phresh filters are the way to go. They are considered by many to be the best period, and I am glad i started using them over the shitty ipower ones i had before that couldnt handle pungent strains. I hear they're better than even the can filters that way a metric fuckton, because the carbon they use is the best out there. Mine is going 5 months strong so far, and my friend has had the same one for 1.5 years and works perfectly fine.

Definitely liking the Phresh filters as well here. On my 2nd 6" and I don't have actively going runs all the time so they last me a very long time (likely longer if I tracked actual hours/conditions used). I ran the 800w setup in the space open-air before and had a 6" Hyper and it kept things in an acceptable range but with putting thing in a tent in the same space I knew I'd have to change things up a tad. I may not do the 800w setup in a tent and just try and stay open air / do better job of light-proofing the entryway to the space (door shows a strong glow all around / but didn't have light-leak issues otherwise).

It may end up working out that the room has the flowering space @ 800w and I'll put my mom/veg tent in there which that will be lower wattage and hopefully not contribute more than I can exhaust from the overall space in general. In that case I may need to go from 6" to 8" - which I hate to do since I know the noise and the air movement from my exhaust to the loft will be even more noticeable.
