Summer in Breckenridge

Just signed the lease on a condo in Breckenridge for May, June and July. I've heard it called the Amsterdam of The Rockies. Where should I be hanging out/do not miss?

That's awesome. I've never been there but I've always heard good things. Maybe this summer is the time I'll finally get to check it out...congrats!

I'm really looking forward to it, but need some intel. Have no idea where to be hanging out at. Which bars are 420 friendly, clubs, ect.
Pretty sure stalking people at the dispensary will yield negative results.

Go to the Gold Pan Saloon. It's a local dive on Main Street, in the middle of down town. Cheap beer, very 420 friendly. I used to hang out there when I lived up there.

Thanks Kelly. Was really expecting more replies. Guess there's not many RIU members in Brek. I was in Silverthorne last summer, but only for a few days and didn't have time to explore. This year I'm taking my time and looking for a place to buy.

It's cool but not the Amsterdam of the rockies. pshhhh. The entire state of colorado is.

Frisco is also a cool town to explore.

I checked out a couple dispensaries in Denver on the way up and was surprised to find quite a few are still medicinal only. Waiting on licenses? I picked up an assortment of 1/8ths from around town to keep me busy for a while. I also hit BCC here in Breck. It's a cool little shop with the emphasis on little. But they were nice enough to give me a "local" discount instead of tourist prices after I told them I was here for a few months.

So far I'm not overly blown away by anything I've tried. That either means the stuff here is pretty tame or I can grow some badass weed. I'm going to say it's the latter until I run across anything to prove otherwise.

Just wanted to throw this out there. Altitude sickness hit me the 2nd day and it suuuuuuucks. Herb does not help at all. Never had a problem with it before. Can't wait to get over this.
