Ok so the summer has almost come and gone, it ends in a few weeks... the plant has had about 8+ weeks vegging outside, and is mature, should i start the flower nutes now,,, (there are no pre-flowers)

If i used the flower nutes now would that help induce the flowering process ( thats what i would like)

well if there is no preflowers your plant isnt mature yet wait till you see preflowers depending where you are you should be seeing them any day. when you see the preflowers then switch your nutes

I'd stop giving veg nutes, because N can inhibit flowering, but adding phosphorus won't really speed flowering.

o right, my bad i was goin on the fact that my plant has alternating nodes (thats why i said its mature) so you class a mature plant with preflowers and not by alternating nodes,,,

got another question, if i was to put my plant in a shaded area, with not alot of sunlight hours a day, would it still flower properly??

if you have alternating nodes its about to have buds and the secret behind flowering is you want 12 hours complete darkness this happens as the days get shorter you should already be in flower mode by now unless theres a streetlight or somethin else near by
