How much sunlight should a small plant get outside, should be in the shade or direct sunlight? also i have some soil ph testers i wanna try out but wat would be a good ph for the soil to be and how can i change it?

direct sunlight, ph should be around 6.2 - 6.8 and those soil ph testers suck very inaccurate, i would acctually say they dont work at al for ph.

They work well. Ya just have to clean the prongs/what ever it has and insert it in the soil the day after watering.

first person ive heard say they work good, lots of threads on here downing them and from personal experience and comparing more than one to a really expensive ph meter i have never seen one close to accurate. i would fill a small pot with some soil and run some neutral ( ph 7.0 ) water threw it, then test the drainage. with a digital ph meter. you dont need an expensive one.... if the drainage comes out close to neutral soil should be ok. there are things you can add to the soil to adjust ph

No i found this one that is coned shaped. It was $60.00. It did not work until i figured out with some soil that i knew what the ph was. Played around and now i figured it out. I was being cheap. The digital ones are sweet. They are accurate as hell. I was trying to save a buck.
