Sunset sherbert first time grower here needs help

KT Mac not looking for nyquil.lol I think they may be swelling but these are the first I've grown so I am not sure ..these look way farther along than my bay dream though

As long as you continue to see those fat white hairs, don't even bother looking at the trichomes. It looks like you're doing a great job, and be sure to post new pics around the end of Sept.

Here is one from this morning

Lets see that bay dream! I ran it last year from seed. Fat yield and turned completely purple.

And here ...maybe you can suggest why trichs are going amber before swelling?

Outside the sunlight despite making the whole plant grow degrades the trichs on the outside of buds after a while. Thats why alot of outdoor folks go with the white hair ratio for harvest. Unless ur buds are in a green house or indoor its kinda hard to go by trichs outside. Especially if you look at the top off the plant vs the bottom the trichs will likely look different because its getting less light.

Yeah let em grow. I usually wait for atleast 50% brown hairs for my outdoor. Others on here say chop earlier. It depends on what strain youre growing and if your aiming for a more clear energetic high or more couch lock. Sooner is energetic; later is couch lock.

That's the bay and would like to keep her more daytime for most of it

For sure you'll notice when the calyxes have swollen and hairs recede. Just watch it's about yo happen over next two weeks

Both the bay and the sunset?...I think I have noticed some on the sunset but still s rookie and not sure if I am second guessing the newness of the experience.

Sunset is about 10 days out and dream looks like 14-17 days

Sherbert looks great btw awesome strain should get some color over next 10 days alot of sherberts I've seen purp out

Some one told me get rid of it it was a shit yielder and grew weird... I don't know if that's true but I like it so far...

Sherbert is a fire plant amazing terps ok on potency nothing crazy but the flavor is real in that one. Most dreams yield big and are sweet decent potency nothing crazy as well but great for sale if you hit it properly as she's a heavy one.
