Super Cali-Haze

First humble auto grow. Always did photoperiod grows for many years. Decided to make an auto seed purchase from attitude, so I got a few packs; Short Stuff Super-Cali Haze (fem), Himalayan Blue Diesel, Flash Cobra.

Decided to germ one SCH bean just to give it a try. Nice plump seed sprouted without incident, vigorous veg growth. She started showing pre-flowers at around 20-25 days from sprout.

As she pre flowered, I switched her to my regular flowering cabinet at 12/12 light schedule. Kept her in the same 1 liter airpot. There was a small opening in the canopy, not alot of room its pretty crowded in my small flowering cabinet right now.

I tried some shooting powder mix for a week, and now today starting flushing with plain water for the next week or two.. right now shes at around 50 days since switching to 12/12.

Lots of resin so far and getting frosty, still has clear trics. Smells sweet/fruity/spicy. Yield will not be impressive, but at least I'll have one auto grow under my belt with a bit of head stash. Hopefully it has "some" of the Haze buzz to it.

looking good. why 12/12? you would have gotten better growth with 18/6 or 20/4.

yes thats a big question why are you photo perioding a auto?

are you lacking permanet auto flower area and have to stick them in with photoperiods?

Thanks, Yeah, I am limited on space and had a few regular photo plants blooming so I thought just throw it in with the others (Skunkman MixedSeedsXHazeXSkunk1, Serious White Russian, FD Pineapple Punch, RQ NL auto). Also I kept it in the small 1 ltr airpot in an to attempt to control height etc. My 100W MH veg light is a bit too small to flower in the hopes of thick chunky buds.

She did show a few bananas a week after switching to 12/12, but none since then, just packing on the buds. Next time, I will veg it longer in a larger pot (3 liter airpot) hoping for higher yields. This one is like a sample plant. So far I like it growth-wise.. but the final test is in the smoke. I'm looking at around 1-2 weeks till chop and dry, cant wait for the test smoke.

A week of flushing and there is noticeable gain. The calyxes are swelled up and just about no more new pistils emerging. I plan on chopping her tomorrow, stopped flushing yesterday and no more water since, I'm giving her a 24-48 hr dark period before the chop. Shes taking on a bit of a mango'ish kind of smell.

The shooting powder looks like still kicks during the flushing period. The buds are chunky and got some of that calyx medusa effect going.

Just couldnt resist, so I snipped a lower bud and let it sit on the HID ballast for a few hours for a quick dry and I just took a sample vape.. bud so sticky but manageable. One load in the vape, a couple of hits later and its a more up tingly kind of buzz, smooth and spacy, tastes a bit fruity. Lasts a few hours. It is no slouch in the potency dept. I can do a better smoke review after a couple of weeks of curing.
