Super mini plants (update)

and i mean, its not like ill be growing in this space forever - ill have my own place soon enough and be doing things much more productively

as for now , i want to learn the basics with some minimum requirements ( but if i can upgrade what i have and remain stealth / cost efficient everything will be gravy

why cant you just turn your thermostat down lower the heat in your house when you gone

its controlled by the building . we dont have individual unit controllers - i know ... very unfortunate

That was yesterday, i might move up the light tommorow, maybe. Fuckin canada rocks. I spent 20 years there. Whats your favorite hockey team. Im an oilers fan, even though theyre gettin worse every year.

im going to have to move the lights tomorrow , there pretty dam close, an inch if not less, and canada is wicked - unfortunately i dont watch hockey hahaha

update on the flowering nutes i just gave them yesterday for the first time - Fox farm tiger bloom n-p-k = 2-8-4 this is what my buddy has suggested and implemented as he grows the strain and says it does wonders - open to advice / comments please !

Luigi man, have you taken care of that nitrogen problem yet?? I was lookin around for you because i know you said you were on a tight budget. Common nitrogen sources around your house are coffee grounds, water from a tropical fish tank, and urine. Almost everybody has coffee grounds and if you dont just go get a real coffee and ask for the grounds for your house plants. The chick might look at you funny but who gives a shit, she works part time in a coffee shop, who cares if shes got big tits. As for the tropical fish tank water, im not so sure if id want to put tropical fish water in. I dont have any expirence with tropical fish tanks but arent they like salt water? I might rather go with regular non tropical fish water. They use tilapia for aqua culture and get great results. Someone will correct me if im wrong but actual salt NaCl isnt good for plants i dont think so play it safe and go freshwater. Nutrients are all salts but not table salt. If you dont have fish or know anybody with a fish tank that needs to be cleaned then that leaves urine. Im not drunk again if thats what your thinking lol this is off rhe net so if you want to do it do some research for yourself before you go pissin on your plants. Well, you probly think im a crazy fuck by now lol and are probly blocking me as we speak lmao but at least i didnt tell you to poop in your plants dirt(night soil). There shouldnt even be a word for that, eeew. Personally id just go to the hydro store and spend a bunch of money on some nutes or go with the fish water. I dont drink coffee or like anything about it except that the girl serving it usually has big tits. The urine thing sound really promising and im going to try it in the summer on my garden in a side by side test. P.S. hockeys awsome

lmfao, all i gotta say is im glad you post on my thread - you make my nights hahaha. but yea i know the piss thing is true as for the nitro problem, all my leaves are nice and green now, ( a couple at the bottom died off an i plucked them) but otherwise everything is super green. i could go check out the coffee grind thing to just incase. but is there nutes i could buy that carry just nitrogen? that id be able to use with my fox farm? or would that be totaly a no go. should i just stick out my nutes i got now and see how she goes? maybe with the coffee grinds ?

You can get nitrogen specific fertilizer at the store. Your plants will survive with the low amounts in the fertilizer you have, they wont die. You can mix and match no worries unless your doing somthing wierd youll be fine. I take it you dont have a fish tank and you dont have a red lobster or a pet store near by that you could fandangle some water from. Coffee grounds sound strange but i didnt look into useing them at all. Id use diluted pee....te he he heee....gee whiz thats crazy! But thats just me. Lol you can do anything you want man but nitrogen is what makes your plants grow big. You want super mini plants or mini mini plants. If you're on a budget, and it's available to you, the Miracle Grow All Purpose is working fine for me, it's got a 24-8-16 formula, and I am using that with some 0-15-11 and unsulphured molasses.

Ive been reading about the whole pee thing. If your having a bad day this will cheer you up. Its comedy. Alot of good info, lots of ferts are urea based, thats pee. People put bat shit, cow shit, worm shit, and all sorts of crazy shit on their plants, why not a little pee? Blood meal also came up alot. Im going to try the pee thing on mine, ill post a picture of the results...you thought i was going to say pee nutes didnt you? Look into it man and then call me crazy if you want.

IDK why you would want to try urine, I smile every time my dog goes and pisses on the neighbor's tree that he planted on our side of the property line. (Tree is not happy.)

Hey Luiji, those plants are looking good! I have a cooling tip for you though:

If the box is sealed somewhat, use two exhaust fans instead of two intake fans (i.e. just flip one around). I've always heard this as the best way, especially when building PCs.
Also, can't tell from pics, but exhaust high, intake low.

dude thanks, i was really thinking about this just lazy about rewiring ahaha. i might giver a go tho ( i got 2 intake , 1 exhaust )

Or why would you use decayed fish guts? Those things are"gross" too but they solve the problem the plant needs to thrive. Do you belive aquaponics works? Ok well you have 4030 posts since aug 12 so i figure you know that aquaponics is just fish poopin and peein in the water and plants enjoying free nitrogen as a byproduct. You understand what organics are right? Organic nutrients are any nutrient that must be acted upon and processed by a biological life process before being available , in such form, that the plant can recognize and assimalate. Thats what you said right? Its not like the plant is going to be soaked with piss, luigi has only used bloom nutes with very small levels of N. doesnt want to spend a fortune and is running out of time for the plant to utilize N while growing taller or bigger in his lst environment. 100% urine is bad, diluted urine is good. Mother earth news, scientific america, and countless tree huggers all cant be wrong. Ive never tried it. Im also on my first grow, its going very well with no pee added. I dont claim to be an expert on anything except sleeping in. I just read a bunch of data on cheap available sources of nitrogen and urine popped up all over the place. I doubt luigi will pee in his nute solution, if someone told me to before i read what i did in the lastcouple days id have laughed at them. It has a little to much salts from what they say but i intend to try it out. People told me LED lights dont work worth shit but look at my basil plant under it. Thats not the only plant that lights veged with great sucess. Im just tryin to help luigi out. Some haters were talkin shit about his plants and i dont think that thats what riu is all about so i stuck up for him and want his plants to do well.
