Super Stealth Living Room Cabinet Grow

Hey all, I've got some interesting things going on hoping to share with everyone. This thread will be an open journal of the progress in an extremely stealthy DIY grow tent I made myself from PVC piping as a frame and Poly wrap for the canopy. Hope to have you along on these endevours, do feel free to comment or share anything you would like here pertaining to growing. I can help anyone out with light leak problems, plant problems, whatever it may be and I hope that I may learn some things here as well.

So to start off I will explain the build; I have the tv in my living room on a stand center on the back wall. On either side of the tv stand are two large shelved pieced of furniture with cabinets on the bottoms. Now I could have chosen to grow directly in the cabinets without the tenT but I would have run into a lot of light leak issues. So I measured the dimensions of the interior and cut a frame to fit out of 1/2 inch pvc. Which I then wrapped with a pandafilm/ Poly wrap which is great stuff that reflects and keeps light leaks minimal. Here are some pictures so you get the idea

I have two cooling fans running from the back for intake and exhaust. Overall temps stay right and this thing is two weeks underway in use. I have had company over multiple times with everything running as we all sir on the couch watching tv and you would never know it was there.

So my plans with this cab are ultimately to run a two plant Scrog. Right now it is full up with many different strains vegging to go outdoors for the season in a few weeks. I will be picking my favorite Sour Diesel and Hash Plant plants to flower with in another few weeks as well. I'm running a bunch of different strains right now some of which include:
-Malawi Gold (100% Landrace Sativa)
-Crossroads (100% Sativa)
-Griego Del Oró (100% Sativa)
-Great Northerner (80% Sativa)
- Grapefruit (100% Sativa)
-Wild Thai (100% Sativa)
-Strawberry Cough

-Strawberry Cough x Blueberry (Huckleberry)
-Strawberry Cough x Durban Poison
-Strawberry Cough x Jack Herer
-Sour Diesel
-Blueberry
-c99 x LSD
-Afghani
-Zulu Skunk x Wild Thai

As you can see I have quite a collection of strains

For medium they are all in my own mix of 20% perlite, 20% vermiculite amended into an organic loamy soil I picked up from the store. For nutrients I use the Advanced Nutrients Grow, Bloom, and Micro lineup along with Superthrive.

The oldest plants in the cab are 12 days old today and I am waiting on one more set of leaves before starting to train and top them. Well here they are. Again feel free to drop in with feedback the more the merrier here I could use some good company. :) Cheers

Welcome guys :) yeah man I was just in reply to you about the sativas when I accidentally clicked out if the tab with my reply and saw your edit. Yeah man the best Sour D And the best Hashplant I have. All the rest are going outdoors for a big year. I'm probably going to start training them next week.

Starting training today. Starting real early for space restrictions mostly and I like them to grow how I want them to

Ok here's an update after the topping of all plants that are now 14 days old. Also fed with 1/2 strength nutrients. 1 week old plants were fed with Fox Farm Big Bloom. The one week old plants are getting prepped for all organics in the outdoors. Upon next transplant will be inoculated with mycorrhizae and put into my own recipe supersoil. For the scrog flower in the tent I will be putting most plants out in 3 weeks but as an update instead of flowering a sour diesel, I will be flowering all indica strains in the cab. Blueberry, Afghani #1 and Hash Plant. The Hashplant flower time is so rediculous ly short. Max 45 days from my experience. Here are pics, I will keep this journal stocked with pics stay tuned.

Sub'd Dude!

I'm guessing you love Sativas? How do you deal with the anxious feelings and thoughts?

Nonetheless, this is great, good luck and I hope you put pictures up of your outdoor babies. I wish I had that many plants growing.

Hey bud welcome aboard! :) Well yes I do love Sativas but the main reason I grow them outdoors is because my subtropical climate. Temps and humidity get really high here July and Aug. Sativas are much better suited for the environment. Also the photoperiod here allows me only two months of vegitative grow. So the long flowering sativas take advantage of the later months to yield more than an indica. As for the smoke I love smoking and getting up and doing something productive! I will definitely post pics of them when they are out there I promise they will be quite large. Anyways glad to have you aboard

I just got home from a night time excursion to a guerrilla spot of mine in the woods. I moved 5 plants total from the veg cab one of each strain. All but two of the plants out there right now are two weeks old. These plants are more trial plants than anything else. I do not expect anything from them really. I think this way so that I may be pleasantly surprised if all goes well and honestly there's really no reason to expect them not to produce I just view them as dispensable.

Ok so what I'm doing first of all with them is:
1.) Running a trial with my organic super-soil mix
2.) Testing how they do in the soot they are in
3.) Testing how they do being watered with the ground water about 50 feet from the spot
4.)Determining sex if the photo period is not right before they mature
5.) testing if there are any harmful animals living in the immediate area.

Seeing that it is night I do not have any pics of them

Date Planted outside 3/8/16

My real danger must watch out for is Female Alligator Nests, So highly territorial when mothers

I shined my flashlight over the water tonight searching for eyes and I came up with 5 sets of red eyes. They are everywhere out there.

I feel ya man, but sounds good about the pics. I'm looking forward to it. Btw have you heard that you can chew on peppercorn and it will take the paranoia away? It's a trick Neil Young uses when he get's paranoid. He talked about it on Howard Stern.

You know, now that I think about it, there are some strains that have a "black peppery" taste to it, maybe those terps have the calming effect in anti-anxiety strains. There is science test it, but I have no idea how to explain it.
