super thrifty grow! R U on a budget?

Ok update time, day 58 or 59, week 2 of 12/12. The buds have really taken off but I'm keeping the lights low so she don't grow too high, but I'm rethinking that?? It's so bushy and so many bud sites that I'd like to expose all areas of the plant for the best yield. So I'm thinking of tying back some of the bigger branches so the inner and lower will be exposed in the middle. I've got a 55watt CFL (200watt eql) and a custom hand made reflector by yours truly hahaa. I will probably hang that over the top and keep the lower lights in place. I'm watering about every other or every 2 days, just when the pot gets light. Now I've got some little flies or gnats hanging out in the soil?? I'm thinking they are the kind that lay the eggs in the soil and the babies eat the roots?? I put some potato slices and apple slices on top of the soil to see if they go for that untill I can get a pest strip. Any suggestions on getting rid of these little guys? Also I'd like to take some guesses on how much yield (dry) this lil girl will give up? I think I'm at 2 weeks bloom 12/12. I'm gonna go another 6? So lets see who can get the closest!!! I'll guess 12lbs hahaha

wasn't this a bagseed? Do you know if this strain actually finishes in 8 weeks flowering? I only ask because it seems like strains that finish in 8 weeks seem to be the exception more than the rule. Either way, doing good keep it up.

Yea this was bag seed, but I found from the friend who grew it that they were all skunk #1 and Afghan kush. But who really knows for sure haha.
It does smell like a skunk invaded though hehe.

A quick photo update. They are looking nice and healthy. The apple slices seems to have gotten rid of the bugs... for now

Update: I put a 55watt and a 42watt cfl above the grow now so I can get to the middle of this bush!! haha. I've still got some 26watters down low. The bud sites on this girl is redonkulus!! I would guess I'm about 3 weeks from harvest???

you got a way to go buddy. I thought I was close to being done...but it keeps on growing and growing. Don't pull it until you get some good advice or are absolutely sure of yourself. My Blueberry Gum is indica dominant, so I thought it would be complete by now (8 weeks), but it still has another week or two. I have a nine week pheno from the looks of it. I think you have at least another month or so to go.

Yea it was a typo haha, I had a veg time in my head for a few others I got going in a veg box... oopsie. I'd say another month or 1 1/2 give or take 2 weeks. But crystals are popping up now!!

But that thing stinks!!! the buds are rock hard and sticky as shit!!! So whats the longest you guys have flowered? I hope I get some decent smoke outa this, my back and stomach is getting really bad now. I don't know if I got nute burn or what??? I'm using 1/2 the reccomended dose every other watering and I only need to water about every 3 days. I figured at this point I would be watering nearly every day??? Any words of wisdom guys?

I've seen long flowering before, Hairs are all still white she will filll out more.

Just keep an eye on the trichs thats the best way to tell

If its MG soil it already has a lotta nutes in it and I've burnt mine b4 (BAD) when adding other nutes in it. U adjust ur ph approprietly every watering too I would assume right?

The soil is fox farm ocean forest, and I do adjust the PH for every watering, I keep it right at 6.3 to 6.8 every time I water, the run off comes out around 5.8 Seems to be inilne? But the first 2 times I used nutes I used too much i think. I didn't have a tsp, I just put a little in the cap and mixed it in a gallon jug. I'm not a fan of the pre fert that comes in the soil. I'm gonna go back a medium like coco fiber next so I can control how much nutes. I've had much better sucess using a medium like rock wool. My Blue mystic is in a mixture of fox farm and roots organic soil, and I mix like 1/4 the recommended nutes and she loves it!! very stron and fast grower!! I can't wait to see how she turns out. I'm gonna keep her no more than 1/2 strenth nutes unless she shows signs of nute defish. I think lots of light, fresh air and water is what she loves. haha​
