I run perpetual with 4-6 different strains and I just assume its a PITA to tend to my plants having to pull one out every week or two. I like to pull my plants right out of the box and water them, turn them etc because I'm running just a 600 in a 4x4 box. This training would transition to scrog like a emeffin beast though. I just received another tent/fans/filters and a pair of GLH 180W LED's to scrog in with but I need some electrical work to handle the added load..... Might not be until winter. You're right though, its very close to what scrog accomplishes without the extra equipment. Its probably more work to do the training than to plop a screen in but it allows me to maneuver my plants more freely and to move them around.

If I was utilizing a larger space, running hydro and all the same strains at once I would be inclined to scrog. I have 2 patients so I like to keep a variety of meds coming out every couple weeks, it keeps it more fun for me too since I'm not a commercial grower rather just an enthusiast. I see you're in LBH's thread, that guy has it going on for sure. Follow his methods and you will be cranking out danks for sure!

i will be doing both methods. i have a 600whp and a 400wmh, im thinking about buying a conversion bulb to hps OR just buying another hps ballast.. still undecided on that. but, what i AM decided on is one light will be a 4 plant scrog and the other light just what your doing, 4-6 different strains.
i will definitely be posting pics as soon as i start the supercropping. i currently have 4 jilly beans at 3 weeks veg, 2 of them topped the other two are lagging behind so ima just let them ride out.

Thanks Matatan! You looking to flower with both the 600 and the 400? Or veg with the 400? Mixed spectrum would probably be pretty sweet. Either that or a CMH for the 400 (as long as its not digital). Can't wait to see the scrog once you get it going man.

i dont know yet. depending on my $ when the time comes. leaning toward the conversion bulb tho.

El Monstre - 55 days and fading, she's about ready, will chop in the next couple days. I untied her and let her loose, I like to let them go the last few days to make space for their replacements. Just threw in a hericules to replace her, also from Sannies.

Here is a cpl pics of some super cropped plants I just put into flower. These were all super cropped through veg, then LST at the time of 12/12 switch.



This is a closeup of the Killing Fields, she's not bulking up yet but the buds are pretty and they smell beautiful. She is at 53 days and I think she's gonna go 80+ days. Next time I will get some pics without flash to show the purple color of the buds.

Smoked some of the El Monstre this last weekend and its not for me. Packs a fuckin KO punch - Curious Old Fart warned me about it lol. I smoked it with some friends on Friday and they didn't hardly want any of it the next day LOL. Its a 2 toke smoke for me followed by a chill stone and relaxation. I smoked it after a few beers floating down the river yesterday and I enjoyed it but it won't be a regular smoke for me. One fat joint lasted me all weekend. I'm hoping the KF will be more up my alley since I'm a fan of sativas although not a fan of 11-12 week finishing plants.

Strains look intense....I am not a big fan either of long finishers! I dont mind 10 weeks but anything over 10 weeks I tend to shy away from.

I agree, 10 weeks should be my max but I had to try this one at least once. might end up going into my personal stash lol.

Haha, hey Jozi! How have you been my WCC? Everything is going smoothly, only problems in my garden is too little space and too many strains currently lol. My Crystal plant is losing some leaves and yellowing at about 35 days so I just spiked her some jacks 20-20-20 mixed with some 10-30-20. Colas on her are ridiculous, should be well over 1 oz each cola and there are 5 of them. This one is not supercropped, just vegged for a long fucking time. I will put my Detroit Lions Gnome on top of my 600 hood to keep an eye out for banshees!
