Supercropping and LST help please!!!!!!!!!

Hello all i need your assitance ever time i try supercropping or lst eg bend my stem it snaps of. It's where i aim to bend it i have done it to 3 plants now they seem to be coming back from it but not really the idea and scared i may be doing more damage than good and massively delaying cropping them or can i get away with this. The stems are fairly fat and i have good leafage i am under a 400w hps in biobizz light then allmix. I currenly 3stroke 4 weeks in and all plants about 8-12" tall.

If you post some pics, that would help. If your stems are snapping, you're either bending too far on the first go, or that stem is too old to lst, or both. Judging by the age and size of your plants, they should be able to bend without snapping -- but you also say they're thick, so perhaps the genetics of this plant aren't great for lst.

Instead of bending them over all on one go, why don't you lst about half-way the first day, then a little more and a little more on subsequent days? That might be gentler.

Well i have grown before under same setup only got small area width wise so only needed a little spread to fill area. The strain is supersilver chesse big buddha and og x black domina and all plants have wider stems and more leafage than i have ever got at this height at this time allthough i have lost a few lower leafs already

Genetics may play a role here -- not all plants do better with manipulation. This might be one that should be left alone. But try not going as far but every couple of days bending a little more.

some strains do snap off when supercropping..to counter that, u just got to soften up the stem a little before kinking it over. squish it in ur fingers a cpl times before laying it down. if it snaps, but doesnt break off...that perfectly fine. it will grow a knuckle there and become stronger than the original branch. i personally "snap" mine over in to a 90 degree angle. if the stem leakes juice out where it splits open on the bend...so be it. it will heal itself and while it is doing so, the canopy will start evening it self out. i go wild o some and most of my branches have like 4 or 5 knuckles on them...but i have 30 tops per lady.

Ok is it better to do it in light off or on stage thinking lower temps may make it more likely to snap?? I guess watering couple of hours before might help me??

I always do it when my light cycle comes on. That way they can start to redirect up after being snapped.
