Ive been wanting to try that and wonder woman
Hey same here, One of the reasons I picked Supergirl was because of its ability to stay a somewhat short and bushy. Perfect for growing indoors in my closet! Having a THC content of 25%+ also had a little something to do with it as well lol but, I noticed you said you subscribed and I wanted to let you know that I started a Grow Journal back in February when I started these ladies and I have been tracking their progress more into depth there so if you want ur more then welcome to check it out :hump:

Thanks Ill look at that, everything Ive read on these girls. say that its got a really long lasting high, and is good for med users. youll have to give us a smoke report when you harvest.

They look a little stretchy but I think you're on the right track. is there any room to hang some CFLs to get light closer to some of the bud sites on the bottom? But other than that, i'd say about another 5-6 weeks is a good guess. Good job man!

hey they are looking great! what fluorescents are you using? they could definitely be the reason for your stretchiness of the plants and why they aren't that bushy....they are looking great but i think you could do much better if you added even a few 23W cfl's.....
in terms of # of weeks left, b/c your using flouros, it might be a week or 2 longer than on the package of the seeds but other than that, it is all strain dependent. look to maybe about 7-8 weeks more? i know i expected 10 weeks for my grow and i started off with T12 plant & aquarium flouros and have will be extended my grow untill forther notice as the week 10 marker of flowering is coming up and they still have a while to go.

hope this helps.bongsmilie

The stretching was my fault a little while ago when I failed to lower the lights to a good level and they stretched a little... But once I noticed it I lowered the lights. Mud1dnot2 and Rollingotties u seem to have the same idea I came up with when I first noticed the stretching happening. If you look at the 3rd picture you will see that I added two 2 foot tube CFLs, and one of my two 45w CFL's screw in's. The main goal of these new fixtures was to help with the stretching and supply the lower/mid bud cites with more light. On top of those 4 fixtures I added do you guys think I will be ok or should I add even more to the mix for the low areas? And of course Candylime I will include a smoke report :bigjoint:bongsmilie:eyesmoke:

25% thc bullll ****
Hey dipshit all you gotta do is go to the Nirvana shop website and check out the strains specifications and there you will surely find a THC Content spec... I ordered the 5 Feminised SuperGirl seed pack for $37.99.. Supergirl is a VERY potent strain from the research I found before and after I purchased the seeds. People have claimed to be high from anywhere to 5-8 hours... Next time do some research of your own before you think you know what ur talking about.. As a matter a fact im interested to kno wat YOU say the THC content is this will be interesting

Ok today I figured out the total lumens in my grow room, Total I have 31,300 lumens in my grow closet is this enuff light for decent dense bud or should I think about getting even more?

Lighting System
Two HPS 50w Fixtures = 10,000 lumens
Two 42w CFL Fixtures = 5,600 lumens
Two 2' HO Tubes in a 4' Fixture = 10,000 lumens
One 4' Tube Fixture = 3,000 lumens
Two 2' Tube Fixtures = 2,700 lumens

[Total]=31,300

here is the problem:

you need to buy:

1 x 600watt hps and reflector

1 x large contractor garbage bags.

to do list:

1. Throw that list of lights above away in the large contractor bags.
2. Set up the 600 watt fixture.
3. Think about growing hydro

First off, I didnt ask about changing my existing light system obviously I would have just hooked up my 400 watt MH fixture if this was the case.. The problem is the closet gets to hot for a fixture like MH's and HPS's... Also the grow room is only about 5 feet tall so this leaves NO space even if I wanted to use the MH/HPS fixtures since u need a good amount of space inbetween the plants and the hot ass bulb. Rather then dealing with all that trouble anyway I still would not use a MH/HPS instead I would just throw in another 10,000 lumens of CFL's and be equal to a 400/600 watt MH/HPS system (40,000-50,000 lumens in my case)... As for the Hydro comment this is the 2nd grow for me and I would rather gain a bit more experience before just thinking im cool growing with a Hydro system. Also why the hell would you recommend just throwing area those light fixtures lol?!? Theres nothing wrong with CFL's, actually now a days theres a new T5 8 Bulb Fixture that admits OVER 50,000 lumens! On top of that it also only uses HALF the wattage that a HPS/MH fixture uses thats equal to its lumens AND there is no worry about heat issues... Everyone has their own ways but I say fuck HPS/MH shits for the old heads the newer CFL/LED grow lights of this day just outperform them in many aspects..

your correct on the cfl's nothing wrong with them as the do grow a nice plant and do yield fairly nicely. however in my oppinion quanity, and quality are lacking a bit with the cfl's. don't get me wrong im not noking them. iv seen many nice yielding cfl grows. goodluck.:joint:

yeah i thought i was just fact that cfl's didn't come close to hps, but hey work with what u got. ..the garbage thing was just a joke. I run a powerful t5 on my mother plants and it works great. Note that mother plants lack buds.

I have heard about some extremely expensive LED fixture that works well. That would for sure pay for itself after a while with the electricity savings. One thing is for sure thou, you won't be getting that "25%+" with some flouros.
