i have a 5x5 currently doing scog.
i have a 180W UFO style LED on half on the room and a 300W LED panel on the other. I want to set up a 250W CFL right in the middle for some extra boost. My question is, they come in 2100k and 2700K. since this is for flowering, should i get the 2100K since it mimics the HPS spectrum? or is 2700K closer to daylight?

Either/or...I don't think it's going to make that much difference whether it's 2100 or 2700; your girls will still thank you (:

your led panels are full spectrum . and I assuming your using all 3 lights to veg and flower . I would get the 2100 k my opinion . better for flower but works ok for veg as well . more red the better in flower .

Ok fair enough. back to my original question there's a 2000 lumen difference between the 2100 and the 2700 does that change anyone's opinion? 9.6k on the 2100 or 11.5k on the 2700.

Go with the 2700k and you'll be fine. Its actually a good thing that you are adding the cfl's because they will help round out your spectrum.

Check it out, this is when I used 2 180 watt ufo's and 4 55 watt 2700k cfl's

i had somewhat of the same setup. i had a 200w cfl 2700 in the back end of my panel, but i got the bulb from osh and it only puts out 3.8k lumens. im gonna get a 250 from a hydro shop.

Nope both will work for flowering spectrum. I think hps is generally 2100-2800k.

there are opinions all over the place here . why not buy 2 bulbs one of each if possible or . it will not make tat much of a difference either way you choose to go . they make hps bulbs up to 4000k in fact according to solis tek you can flower with a bulb up to 4000k with out hurting yield .

A clean grow room is a less problematic grow room.

I had a buddy that had a big grow and they would trim and leave the trim on the floor. They'd walk on it and eventually they had a green trail all through the house and fucked all the carpet up. Smh all because they were lazy asses.

lol . as soon as you clean it . its time to clean again . mop sweep bleach . and shit its dirty the next damn day ! I am debating on one of those electric robot vacuum cleaners would be bad ass going around the grow room .
