also she is only 10 days into flowering i just today started using tiger bloom, i got her in the ground about 5 weeks late so its gonna be late october till she is ready! any ideas on covering for frost??

haha jsut learned that in hort class today, you need to get yourself some burlap, it is actualy hard to come by, try hardwarestore. crazy hermie too, good luck with the female. GO FF

burlap to cover her? i need to find some! im affraid there will be at least two frosts before im ready to pull her should have had her in the ground early... live and learn next year im on it times 10

i know that here in TN some of the rednecks use cheesecloth or mosquito nets to protect there fruit trees/tomato plants when there's danger of frost... i would be leery of burlap so late in the flowering stage, the additional weight may cause your babies to lean over and end up on the ground... which leads to mold later on...

edit: the idea here is that a fabric tent will have the same effect on micro climates as pine trees to in the winter time... if you ever have spent time outdoors when its cold, you notice that its always warmer under a pine tree... not gonna go into the extreme technical details here but it is a fact. all you have to do is keep your babies above the frost point by only a degree or 2

I know I am late to respond but light frost is not an issue. You may see some purple hues show up. But if the leaves look healty otherwise let her go. I never worry too much about frost or light snow. Unless its going into the 20's, thats a freeze. Morning temps around 30 are ok for all but the weakest strains and potted outdoor grows. The root mass cools too much in potted plants. If you must cover them be careful. Places where the cover contacts the plants can create wet spots, I.E. possible mold prob. And next time you get a herm or male I would pull it and rid the area of it, gently. Male pollen forms very fast and by killing it in the garden you risk releasing pollen. Good luck on your girl. the first picture is a male hermie no good for nothing lol, i got a female hermie growing right now and well i thought it was female just with large pods till i ripped one down and opened it up and noticed a tiny little seed starting and im in like week 6 of flowering and now ima just cut it down and make hash oil, yum yum
