Ok so this is my first grow ever, I'm growing Nirvana White Widow. This is more or less for me to look back on to keep dates straight to know how long the grow took and when I gave them nutes ect. I'm a extreamely forgetful person even when im not high :bigjoint:.

December 20th: I started germination of 3 seeds using the paper towel method.

December 21st: Nirvana's high germ. rate lived up to it's standards, I had 2 tap roots slowly making their way out of 2 seeds.

December 22st: I let the tap roots continue to grow.

December 23nd: The two seeds that had small tap roots growing out of them had increased in length to about 1cm each. I planted them both in Hyponex soil (it's cheap soil I got from K-Mart)The one with the longest tap root that cracked first I planted first. Then I planted the second one. They were each placed under their own 26 Watt Warm White CFL. I was still germinating the 3rd seed because the seed had just cracked.

December 24th: No signs of sprouting with the two that I had planted on the 23rd and the seed still germinating tap root had increased in length but was still not a cm in length though I planted it anyways because I was about to leave for Christmas Vacation.

December 25th-28th: Away on Vaction

December 28th: I returned home to find 2 out of 3 had sprouted. The one I mentioned above that had cracked first and had the longest tap root AND had been planted first was the tallest about 2 inchs tall. I decided to name that one Cargoth (The Destroyer of Worlds) the other one that had sprouted was the one that cracked second and had been planted second and was about 1 1/3 tall. I decided to name that one Rennoc (The Warrior). I knew that growing with CFL's wasn't "ideal" and them being warm whites didn't help so I stopped at Home Depot and picked up 3/26 Watt Cool White CFL's (one for each plant).

December 29th: Today when I woke up I noticed that the switch between Warm white and Cool white did make a difference. Rennoc I noticed grew to about 1 1/2 and my 3rd seed had sprouted  it was about 4/5 (Is that even a type of measurement, sorry I fail when it comes to measuring :dunce:) Anyways I decided to name that one Xavier (The Conqueror). P.S. I know most growers that name their plants give them girl names but... hopefully tough names will help create tough plants . I would put up pictures of my grow and grow room but the cord that hooks up my phone to the internet is broken and I don't have a digital camera :wall:. Once I find the cord i'll put up some pics ASAP.

January 4th: Ok, so I got a whole new grow cabinet because the box just wasn't working for me. Though I had some major problems getting the lighting set back up and the plants probably didn't recieve lighting for about an hour well atlest not CFL lighting :wall:. Though it looks like their growth wasn't that effected because Cargoth has started growing a big second set of leaves though it's been about 2 weeks now so I don't think i'm doing to good . Rennoc has almost caught up to Cargoth in length and is starting to grow a second set of leaves. I ended up getting rid of Xavier because he/she didn't seem to b growing well at all was very behind in growing and was slumped over. Still no pictures though i'm planning on getting afew more lights today and will go and get a hook up so I can upload some pictures and hopefully get some feedback on the grow :-P

January 4th UPDATE: Ok, so I didn't update my grow journal agian but I went out an bought 6 more 26 Watt Cool White CFL's. One I accidently dropped and it shattered :wall:. Though I plugged in all the ones I could and had around 264 Watts worth of CFL's and the temp. in the grow room was slowly climbing up to 89 degrees :-? so I ended up removing 2 lights so now there are 6/26 Cool White CFL's and 1/26 Watt Warm White CFL. There started to be signs of streching because they were farther away from the light than they used to be. Though I didn't take the time to put them closer to the light because I was hoping they'd strech alittle and then even out.

January 5th: Ok, so I came home today to find both my plants had some major steching going on so I put them closer towards the light. Hopefully they'll be better now

January 6th: Ok, so turns out that the problem was actually to much heat. I removed all but 1 Warm White CFL and there are 4 Cool White CFL's. The temperature has dropped from around 79-83 to about 76-78. The second set of leaves on the biggest one have also dropped indicating that hopefully I didn't hurt them to muchbongsmilie. Hope that tommorow the other one's second set of leaves will have dropped as well.
