ahh fuck, thanks .. this sucks though since all I have been doing for the past 30 mins is racing back and fourth (reading,posting,altering,reading,posting,altering) in that order

but I will go check and see if it burns my hands

does anyone need to see how my setup is? because if it would help, then I can take a few shots. (I just would rather got to bed)

edit* and my growing room is about 75-85 (depending on how cold it is outside) (but I have a heater in the room that my growing room is inside that keeps the whole room like around 69-71) but then because of the lights, my grow room is usually 75-82) (the highest its ever been is probably 86-87) but I changed it asap

dude go to bed, I am too, but just make sure like rus said not to burn ur plants. 1 inch from ur plants with fluoros should be fine. like I said THE #1 mistake by newbs is loving their plants to death. I love my plants, just enough for them yearn and want more of my love. I think it makes them grow better than babying them.

**PS** I felt both lights at once, and they were warm to the touch, but I held my hand on them both for about 20-30 seconds, and never was burnt, or even close to.

once again, I appreciate everything you all have done for me, and would love any more advice (I just checked, and it seems like the stems are starting to get more coloration back to them, and the one that hadn't had any leaves on it, is starting to now have some... the only thing left that isn't changing is that they are still all laying down, and bent to the ground. I will check on them tomorrow, and let you all know how they are doing)

Breathing would have small effects maybe, you do breath out CO2 thats gotta be good for something right?

Im so proud of you... settling down and listening. I know how you feel. Your first grow seems so hectic, especially when you finally have seedlings. Maybe prop them up before bed, so they can get some light on those leaves. And take a deep breath. These suckers WANT to grow. They are a weed. Goodnight kiddo. Dont worry. You've come so far, just in a few hours.

definitly prop them up, that will greatly help they're recovery. the best method i have found is a cutting a straw to size, cutting that straw down the side so you can open it and put it around the them, and then stick it in the ground a bit. it will expand with growth, and not do any harm to the weak stems of a seedling like tying might do. just use care, when putting the straw on.

Yes i agree. You've come along somewhat in a couple hours. Just remeber u have 3+ months of growth to maintain(3-15ft plants depending on strain) and take care of. just a reminder.

I will try the straw thing (if I can find any) and now i am officially off to bed, (btw, I just got about 2.4 eights of this dank ass stuff that was dipped in hash, that I am now selling half of.

(ugh I didn't have the battery for the scale when I sold it (plus we smoked a bowl (but mine is smaller compared to others) and had to sell him a 1/2 of an 8er... and the fucker only gave me 25$ (but he's a personal friend, and will pay me back later, either in weed.. or money... or even a little of both) but the sad thing is, I only have like 6 grams left, and I am off to walmart to get a smaller scale) well anyways I am officially off to bed, once I look for some straws... will post tomorrow

pps you can get a cheap microscope at like radioshack (I did)

There are lots. and Then there's others. just be careful when you run into them.

hey i checked it out, and the stems are getting better, and I am using straws to keep them up, and the only problem is, is that there leaves are starting to either curl downward, or just falling in general

Maybe I missed it, but did you ever change that soil? If not, then I think that could still be causing many of your problems. I think that the roots may be having trouble getting a grip in that stuff, and I doubt it's great for watering. If you already changed it, then disregard this completely.

But like she said, CO2 is one of the last things you add to a perfect set up, this is down the line where your trying to squeeze 110% out of your plants.

hey buddy, those grow lights at walmart will not do a good job for lighting. buy 6k cfl bulbs(has a blue white color, not yellow) there in the blue package at walmart. you need maybe 2-13 watters for 1 small seedling. ohyea you dont need to breath on them theres plenty of co2 in the air for a small seedling.

mix up some yeast, water and sugar in some soda bottles if you want ghetto co2
