Sweet God(BC bud depot), Strawberry Cough, Critical Kush(barneys farm)

Guess that makes sense because its a 9 week flower for the strawberry cough. 63-65 days was recommended by the person who hooked me up with the seeds. The critical kush had an 8 week flower and I believe the sweet god is 6-8 weeks depending on the pheno I guess. 6 or 7 weeks would work out great for me cause it would be a week between each type and that would be great for giving me time to trim and cure them all

Yes that is a pic of the Mataro I grew out last year. Hopefully the quantity will be better than with the so called auto, I got about 7 gr per plant. :-(. I would post new pics but the girls are so big now I wouldnt get them in frame lol. Next one will be a bit shorter veg!!! they've streched about 2.5 feet. The Mataro is looking good and I will be topping them tomorrow.

With the ladies being that large I sure hope you get more than 7g a plant :p
my girls aren't growing vertically very much, they are extremely bushy and I really need to get some side lighting going on and trim the sides because you can't see through them so very little light is getting to the inside branches. Just a waste really.
What I'm trying to figure out is if I should get a 300 watt led for the top f the girls and put my fluorescents on the sides but I am pretty sure it'll be much easier to put the led on the side because its much smaller than the 4' fluorescents. I'll likely put the led on the side but I might change my mind once I have the led in hand lol. It took a long time to decide whether I should get some cfls for the sides and get some y splitters, or get a 3' double light fluorescent OR go with the led.. After thinking about I am going to go with the led.. It will put out a lot more lumens than any of the other choices and I think it puts out less heat as well but if it does get to hot I can always leave one of the doors open since I have not got a fan to suck out air.. Might be my next purchase cause these girls are already starting to stink and they aren't even in flower yet..

Actually Buster I am hoping for 2oz a plant every 3-4 weeks lol. Well thats the plan! I was going to build a screen for them but I think I'm going to tie them. I hope they stop stretching soon. Small and bushy would be nice! I have about 3 oz left from last spring so things better pick up quick or i'll be very cranky lol. good luck with the lights, I would like to hear how your LED works out as that may extend my season through the summer due to less heat. could you train them a bit to allow more light through?

Strawberry cough needs to breath. And how are the barney's farm seeds? I was thinking about going with the liberty haze?

2 ounces a plant would be beauty, would surely leave you with a little stockpile :)
what's their total height at now?
Short and bushy is nice but its a bit difficult to work with sometimes and it always leaves me so curious as to what my yield will be lol. I want at least 4-6 ounces and between 4 good size girls I should be able to accomplish my goals but I've got a bit nervous that I won't be able to. I need to cut some clones soon for sure but I want to get this led up and running tomorrow before I do.
I will surely keep you up to date as to how the led helps out.
I may have to train them very slightly in order to allow the inner buds to get some light too. If I do that I will have to drill very small holes into the top sides of the pots and do it that way. Good call, thank you :)

happyman420, have you worked with the strawberry cough? Thank you for your info, I'll definitely make sure to keep the airflow steady in there!
i actually really like Barney's farm seeds I have. 100% germination rate and the plant is very healthy, so far it seems great, I guess the big test will be to see if it stays female as the seeds are supposed to be. I've heard great things about the liberty haze, more so for the finished product and not the growth as I haven't looked into that but haze is usually a great smoke so you can't go wrong!

Well I converted to the other side lol. I didn't go with the led.. I got a 400 watt hps instead. Never used hps before so I am pretty excited.. Almost want to put these ladies into flower now so I can start using it lol

Ok I can't take it lol. I'm getting some cloning gel this week and once I've cut a few clones I'm going to flip these ladies into flower! Probably Wednesday ill do it since I just got the hps and I won't have as much vertical growth space as I did before. Also I don't want to wait lol, I want these ladies ASAP :p

Question..
should I put up the hps right when I kick em over to flower or wait till the show sex and truly start to flower? Never changed lights from veg to flower before so I'm not sure what would be best.

Next question..
how do inset up ventilation and air smell filter in the same pipe with 1/2-3/4 foot of room on the inside??
i need to take out some hot air in there as the temps hit 81 at 50% with my hps.. I'm betting the temps will increase running at 100% so this is a must cause I don't plan on going any less than 75% of the 400w hps..
I will definitely need a filter for the smell and I will definitely need to take out hot air.. This is really bothering me and I need help.. I'm not even quite sure on how to set this stuff up.

You do have room outside to mount the fan correct? Also when I turn to 12/12 i move the tray into the bud room and turn on the HPS but lots of ventilation and fan blowing on canopy to keep things somewhat cool. Back to the fan, not sure as I have never used a can style filter, mine is a ducted unit(i'll take pics tonight). You could mount the filter in the room and round duct to outside where you mount the fan possibly. Check out the can style sizes I guess.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Glad to know it will work :)
I would definitely like to see your set up :).
My girls just had their second day of lights out, the strawberry cough is female! The others haven't shown sex yet I'm very happy to have the strawberry cough for sure so far. I am excited to see how she will look and taste, especially after you saying it was good smoke!
As long as the critical kush is female as it should be(fem seeds) and one of the sweet gods are female I'll be extremely happy!

The two on the left are the sweet gods, then the third from the leg is strawberry cough and the right is critical kush. Really excited about this and so far lucks been on my side.
I do think I'll need a stronger fan though because this crappy little $12 fan from wal Mary just isn't blowing very hard.

contactor box.jpg You might be interested in this light controller I built for $40 to run the lights after going through 3 timers (cheaper if using a 120v coil contactor). The timer controls transformer that energizes the contactor the closes bringing on light so very light load on timer. I will post filter and mega monster stretch plants tomorrow old lady pissed at me so I better go say hi........lol.

That's brilliant! I'd definitely do the same as you have but I don't trust myself with any sort of electrical work, even if its extremely easy lol. I'll put my fingers 1/8 of an inch from a saw blade but I don't mess around with electricity :pRight now I'm actually not using a timer; the lights go off at 630 every morning whether it be myself or my fiancé turning them off and same for nights.. Usually her turning them back on at night though because I work long hours.
Speaking of gettin pissed mine is annoyed that I'm on here reading all the time instead of spending time with her.. She's watching some stupid Johnny depp movie, dark shadows I think it is :s.
looking forward to seeing your girls tomorrow, I love large healthy green ladies! If I had the room I would definitely let these girls get nice and tall. I did outdoors a few years back, I had some giants! They were home made girls, a cross between lemon haze and purple skunk. My largest lady gave me 19 ounces dry, the rest were all about 15 ounces. I had so much that it got boring to smoke it so I sold it to my friends for dirt cheap haha. If I could ever find the other seeds of that strain I would surely grow them out right now, they looked great, tasted incredible and grew extremely well.
Anyways have a good one, I'll be checkin up for your post tomorrow. G'night.

Here they are all About 4.5 feet but they gotta stop soon!!!photo (3).jpg Actually they have as haven't moved the light for a day TFG!!! air filter.jpg And here's the filter, it basically scrubs the air with hepa and charcoal canister. I think they retail for around $350 - $400 so not cheap and its for a house, made by americare. I think its about 200cfm so 8 x 8 room will have air changed every 2.5 min. I also replace charcoal canister every 6 months, trust me it needs it!!! Keep in mind that I live in the country so smell not a huge deal but still a concern and mt grow is remote from house as they take it here!!! (house i mean)

Those are giants! I don't think my girls will stretch that much but I expect some since its an hps running and not as close as the fluorescents I had. That filter is massive, I'm guessing absolutely no smell passes by that bad boy huh?
Is it simple to change/ clean the filter?
What's your expected harvest and what kind of lights you have on them?
