Ya in my current Tent setup a light mover will me hard, Im just gonna add more 600w HPS :D have 2 now want 4 but prolly just add 1 at time first well see how it goes. I do like the Kessils but there no replacement for the Power of HPS. Light movers are really expensive aswell dont wanna blow 200$ on one atm but I will definately consider it.

FINAL HARVEST of the mothers and WEEK 6 for girls also have some week 3 girls trailing behind :D/

We should have around 8-10 tupperwares full which I'm thinking will equate to around 8-10 ounces. Not bad considering we running minmal lighting for out tent. I think it will be easier to get more off plants that werent mothers aswell and have been trimmed and topped correctly. Well be adding 2 brand new 600w Solarmax bulbs tommorrow which will help considering were using a friends old bulbs. I think with plants grown from clone, a 3rd 600w and all new HPS Bulbs instead of 2 used ones we will get closer to the 4-6 ounces per plants were looking for. Right now its hard to say but i think well end up around 2.25 ounces per plant off the first round. I will get a final weight in few weeks when all is dried and properly cured. The used bulbs are getting worse taking longer to fire, I bet were only pulling around 60k lumens per light instead of 90-95k :/ O well live and learn, New Bulbs and More Lights it is!

P.S. looking for patients near Denver/Aurora area message me for more information.

Just wondered, I've learned that constant light burns out the light receiving organelles (short term memory loss has given me a brain cramp and I can't dredge up the proper terminology), so I'm hoping to increase yields with a light mover when I expand my Kessil setup. I've been hoping someone could tell me more about this.

From what I have read direct light does degrade some THC crystal but during the night cycle they rebuild. It is unavoidable I would not worry about degrading quality with Light. The more light the better I would not really waste money on a light mover thought I probably would just use taht money towards more lighting. HPS really helps to give denser buds but the Kessil seem to do ok on there own. Due to thc calayx degrading a little bit during the day cycle most people Harvest after 12-24 hrs of darkness. This and making sure to touch the final product as little as possible ensures maximum crystal/calayx staying on your medicine from harvest to the patient.

Best of Luck

My reference was to light receptor cells in the leaves, and their degredation from a steady lightsource. It is important to the optimal energy production of the plants to have a moving light.

I believe Hobbes quoted some reference in his grow guide. Is he still out in LALA land? I can't download files from his guide, these days.

Yes lots of lights with tons of overlapping light or a light mover is optimal. Think of nature it usually wins and the sun does move so I will give you kudos on that one. I just dont think it will have a major impact. It will make your lighting more effective in theory but at the same time I just turn my plants every two days and same thing lol. If I pile up some extra cash I may consider a Light Mover but not while im using a tent just adds weight the tent can't really handle. I have bigger problems anyway I'm currently limited to my plant count and I need to meet some more patients in Denver.

More light won't help damaged receptors, the point is it's just a part of plant science that needs better explanation than it receives here, or that I can give it.

Assumptions are meaningless in these areas. I'm concerned with the physical facts and botany regarding this. Plenty of people don't use light movers, but it is a real possibility that yield could be increased dramatically in terms of quality and quantity.

My situation can't accommodate a light mover, either, but this isn't a personal matter...it goes to a better understanding of plants, and how best to grow them.

If it only makes a small difference, it is easily ignored, but if the difference is significant, then it's a meaningful consideration.

Ok, I'll shut-up about this now. Cheers to your grow! Well done.

After 70 days of waiting finally trimming and harvesting the G-13 Haze and wow she smells and look great cannot wait till its all fully dried and cured. We are putting a new round into the flower room tommorrow and have 2 more rounds now at week 4 and 7 (week7 starts in 2days). Its good to have a steady crop for my patients and myself as managing pain from edibles is proving to take alot of crop.

Well were on week 8 and girls looking huge perhaps better than last time if possible. Here are some pics of whats going on. We have put all 12 plants into flower as we will be moving in few months. We are going to add a 3rd 600w HPS sometime in next week of so and have already replaced new bulbs. With 3 600w HPS all newer bulbs and 2 Kessils in the flower tent we should get a good yeild and perhaps potency increase.

Second Pic is G-13 Hazes

few other pic of garden as well
